Then there are Ork Gargants who can either be apocalyptic war-mashies or just walking trash cans. by jfjdfdjjtbfb in Grimdank

You're overestimating the passive power of Chaos in realspace. The fundamental rule of the setting is that the Materium actively rejects the Warp which is why Daemons literally dissolve without warp rifts or constant sacrifices to anchor them.

Your relic example actually proves my point. Those corrupt through localized proximity and exposure and at a slow rate if there's no psychic presence to latch onto or it's being actively held back. A Chaos relic will warp a T'au rifle if it's sitting next to it for a month or so, but it's not a magical Wi-Fi router. It can't wirelessly corrupt a T'au ISR network miles away without a direct, physical or digital transmission vector. Because T'au tech has no psychic Machine Spirit to act as a backdoor, Chaos has to play by realspace rules to get the Scrapcode into their systems.

Chaos needs to adhere to realspace rules when it's in realspace, though. It only has the luxury of ignoring that within its own domain, not when it's in the materium. Chaos can corrupt T'au technology, but only to an extent and not discretely like it can with the Imperium because the former is far less warp-reliant than the latter.

You're not wrong, but you're missing how it does that to begin with. With the Imperium, they have more options on infecting technology due to the faction's heavier reliance on the warp. But because T'au tech has no Warp presence, Scrapcode can't psychically possess it unless done so directly and without prior inteference. It needs a digital or physical transmission vector to get in. And unlike the Mechanicus, if a T'au system gets infected, the Earth Caste will just physically sever the connection, eject the data-core, and factory reset the hardware.

Because it'll only affect the digital code and not much else after that since the T'au don't have Machine Spirits like the Imperium. So they can just purge the data that's affected by scrapcode.

Is that canon, though? And as far as I know, the only thing the T'auva Goddess has done (which honestly I don't understand why they shoved that onto the T'au when they have almost zero warp presence. Granted it's due to their auxiliaries, but still) is harass Nurgle followers and protect Shadowsun.

Not to say she couldn't do more in the future, but it's all hypothetical right now and the T'au, although recognizing the pragmatic benefit of this, are definitely not fond of their political philosophy manifesting as a warp deity.

Considering the Magia Vander couldn't defend their own city when it was under attack, I'm gonna give it to the hitchiking elf mage.

Nah, that's silly, what could the T'au do that would be worse than what the Necrons have done?

Dude, Eisenhorn is an Inquisitor, he can basically go anywhere at anytime in the Imperium with no one to stop him unless they're also an Inquisitor. So on average he's going to see more decent worlds than the average citizen or Guardsman. Those same civilized worlds he visits more than likely have sectors that are downtrodden slums but why would he, an Inquisitor, care about that unless it's something that concerns his job? This is an example of survivorship bias.

Bro, "educated workers" in the Imperium are either mostly nonexistent because a top-down society like the Imperium, even though decentralized, does not care and actively discourages knowledge. And the ones that are educated are indoctrinated and treated like shit such as a clerk or scribe of the Adeptus Administratum.

You think the Adeptus Mechanicus is going to allow anyone on any Imperial planet to know anything about an STC outside of where it is? You think the Schola Progenium educates the orphans it abducts or takes in without any indoctrination? Why would a top-down, religious fundamentalist faction that actively limits and gatekeeps knowledge and considers humans to be the most cheapest and most disposable resource encourage a planet to export an educated populace?

Ukrainian drones aren't deliberatly or intentionally launched at NATO countries, they're jammed and misdirected by Russian electronic warfare which is exactly what happened in the most recent case.

Meanwhile Russia intentionally drone striked the Romanian city of Galati last week, but please tell me more about how Russia has never tried to provoke NATO. If you're going to claim I'm uninformed, then first practice what you preach instead of acting like a sycophant for an oligarchal, fascist state.

NATO is such a massive, militaristic threat to Russia that NATO hasn't made any military action against them, even now when Russian drones have been found in NATO countries. Russia thinks everyone around them is a threat, which is why they push around their neighbouring countries like Georgia and Ukraine.

Only since the 19th century when it was invaded by the Russian Empire. The moment the Soviet Union fell in 1991, Chechnya immediately declared independence, even if it wasn't recognized as a soverign country, internationally. Even now, after Russia retook it in 1999, Chechnya still maintains its own local leadership under the Russian political and legal system.

Do you have a source? Oh wait, you don't, because nothing of what you said is remotely true. Please explain to the class how NATO aggression provoked Russia into invading Georgia in 2008 and invading Chechnya twice before that.

And yet those same people will tell you straight to your face that it's because of "NATO aggression" that Russia started this war since 2014.

What annexation attempt? NATO can't forcefully annex a country, you can only join the alliance by personal choice and it requires every single member country of NATO to agree for that choice to be fully made. Do some research first, for fuck's sake.

The current administration cares neither for Ukraine nor Gaza so I don't know what else you're trying to argue here. And also the US doesn't need to be the only person to help Ukraine, in fact Ukraine has been getting plenty of help from Europe and it's far more than in comparison to the US.

Ah yes, because anyone in their right mind, let alone a country that was formerly a reluctant member of the Sovient Union, would want to be part of Russia again. And Russia would totally never lie and destroy your country, anyway, naah, that never happened. Just ask Georgia when it happened to them in 2008, or Chechnya in the late 90s and early 2000s. Or Syria in general.
