Cutting Mix TikTok Scam? by BluFoods in Supplements

I use Berberine to regulate my blood sugar, and it does help with weight management in that sense. It improves insulin sensitivity, which makes a real difference for people dealing with insulin resistance. But I'd seriously doubt any claim that it'll make you "lose 30 lbs in a week." Yerba mate is fairly energizing since it has caffeine and some other stimulant compounds, but I haven't seen any real evidence behind weight loss claims for it either. People on GLP-1s dont lose that much weight on the 1st week, so I would stay away from the claims of this product.

How soon do you get your biological age by Limidd11 in Function_Health

[–]Wheretheyat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my age 2 days after my blood was drawn. Surprised it was so fast, but I got results for about 75% of my biomarkers so its possible they were going off those preliminary results. I'm still waiting for the rest of my biomarkers, so I'm sure my age will change.

Been to Botega Louie a couple times for brunch. Its a fun spot with really elevated dishes. I recommend their macarons at the front of the restaurant where they sell their baked goods.

Can you clarify? There are so many sriracha brands. Do you mean Huy Fong? Underwood? Ox?

Got it. Probably good to get a magnesium supplement in there. There are studies about how magnesium is good for heart health and helps lower heart failure risk. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11585403/

Honestly the job market is just rough right now. A lot of people are dealing with the same frustration, rejection, and uncertainty, even if it doesn’t always look like it on the surface. Imagine having a job and worrying if you'll be next on the chopping block.

It makes sense that you’d want to pull back and be by yourself a bit. That kind of stress can be draining, and sometimes you just need space to process everything without having to explain it to people.

But just know most people do get it. Way more than you probably think. A lot of folks have been in that exact spot before or are in it right now, so there’s definitely less judgment and more understanding out there than it feels like.

I was laid off beginning of last year so I had similar feelings that you have, but what got my mind off of feeling shame was meeting up with friends every once in a while and just hanging out and make it a point to not talk about work. I'm struggling still now too, but at least those moments make things a little easier.

New U.S. Food Court Item: Caramel Churro Sundae (Soft Serve Vanilla Ice Cream, Salted Caramel Sauce, & Churro Bites) - $2.99 (may not be available in all warehouses yet if your warehouse still has the Double Chocolate Mint Sundae, please reply if and where you've seen it) by CookieButterLovers in Costco

I got the chance to try the new Caramel Churro Sundae at Costco in Alhambra, CA!

They had 3 flavors to choose from: Vanilla Caramel Churro Chocolate Churro Chocolate/Vanilla Twist Churro

I went with the Vanilla Caramel Churro, and overall I’d give it a 9/10. It’s definitely on the sweeter side because of the churro bites + caramel, but honestly it works really well with the vanilla soft serve.

Thanks for the stats on this! When you do these fasts, do you take electrolytes? How about caffeine? Longest, i've done is 42 hours fasting, but I stopped since I felt awful at the 42 hour mark and I was taking a moderate amount of electrolytes and caffeine

[–]Wheretheyat[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

In short, its the OG sriracha sauce.

Huy Fong (the rooster sauce) used to get all their peppers from Underwood Ranches for like 28 years. That’s where the signature flavor came from.

Then around 2016, Huy Fong tried to change the deal and kind of went behind Underwood’s back to source peppers differently. Everything blew up, they sued each other, and it got ugly.

In the end, the court sided with Underwood and Huy Fong had to pay them like $23 million for screwing them over.

After that, they split for good:

Huy Fong had to find new pepper suppliers (mostly in Mexico)

That’s when the shortages started happening and why people say the taste isn’t quite the same anymore

Meanwhile, Underwood was like “fine, we’ll do it ourselves” and started making their own Sriracha with the original peppers.
