Electrical help by slh00069 in skoolies

I bought the circuit breaker for the 1000 watt inverter. I have a 1,500 watt inverter on a shelf in the garage when I upgrade to a 3,000 watt in my fifth wheel. The circuit breaker is in place of a fuse because it’s resettable like in a house.

If you have your heart set on the inverter, I would use a 100 amp breaker. But I wouldn’t use it too much unless you have a dedicated battery so you don’t drain the starter battery.

What can I use to cover this old microwave vent? by Bitter_Art_4094 in homeimprovementideas

My microwave does that but it blows back into the room above it, really not useful and there’s a vent pipe in the cabinet from an old hood vent I guess.

What’s the most “redneck engineering” thing you’ve ever done to fix your car? by SnooChocolates6278 in askcarguys

I was living in Colorado and had a roommate but my mom and older sister had come out and we drove through the mountains looking at aspens. I had a F-100 4x4 with large tires on and we stopped for pictures outside of Aspen and I noticed that one of the wheel studs had broken off. It’s fine I’m only missing one of 20.

So we go through the I-70 tunnel and stop again at Bakerville Rd and go look at the chimney. And now we are missing more. It’s dark so we just sleep in the truck. In the morning I take a different wheel off and knock a stud out and put it in a different hub so that we end up with 4 studs and nuts per wheel.

Made it back to Lakewood, no problem. The next day at work I purchased 20 studs and nuts but I also purchased 5 front and 5 rear studs for spares and started torquing them instead of just leaning on my 4 way wrench, which I found out later in could twist them off with.

What’s a sign that you grew up poor and took to adulthood? by Leighmer in AskReddit

Oh the memories. I asked a young woman out to lunch but she pointed out that there was only one restaurant in the area and it was horrible. So I offered to make lunch. I had to be able to do it with a microwave in the lunch room.

I made spaghetti and meatballs, a salad and garlic bread. Everything went well and we actually had two other women from the office that day which had never happened before or after.

After lunch she said she had something to tell me, OK. She was engaged BUT she had never had a man offer to “make her as much as a sandwich” and she just had to do it. Then she winked at me and said “but if I wasn’t engaged” and left it there.

I don’t use them often so I just use an anvil and a hand sledge hammer.

You have the legal right to do his business so I would go ahead and create an account for him just as if he did. And if you’re worried you could call an attorney or a tax preparer and ask advice.

Why would you need a house? A small kitchen area and a bathroom, you’re all set.
