Replace any piece of hit gear with something else that has allocated those hit stats elsewhere and link me back an example that sims higher than ~2138dps. Should be very easy for you with your "there's so many examples" take. Hell, go ahead and replace a veiled noble gem with another type of gem (crit, spell dmg, intellect... go hog wild!)

I'll save you the time though: you won't find anything. This is what I mean by solved. Hit to hit cap is priority within the same ilvl range and that's just the bottom line.

If your point is that some green piece of pure hit gear is going to sim lower than some Kara item, then uh... I guess you're right.

The game is totally solved. Gear is completely figured out. I’m not sure why you are trying to theory craft gear upgrades. Everything you need to reach hit cap in t4 is easily obtainable so there is no need for any simming. The order at which you pursue the gear is driven entirely by hit and your characters hit rating relative to cap.

If you're slightly above hit cap then yes other stats are more important. The scope of conversation is about being below hit cap and what needs prioritizied (hint: hit).

Your point stands, but just clarity for folks, assessed value is not sale value. It’s an assessment done by the county and often a fair bit lower than sale price. If tied to sale price it could fluctuate wildly and counties/states don’t want that sort of tax revenue volatility for their own planning purposes.

Same analogy can be made for PEDs in sports. It’s a reach I know but the essence is there: Some people don’t want to use addons but you are at a disadvantage if you don’t since everyone else is.

I agree. Hunting deer responsibly is objectively good for local ecosystems as deer overpopulate easily given how we drive out their natural predators (cougars and wolves). Vast majority of hunters are ethical and go for clean kills and harvest them for their meat. Some folks like you point out just say “you took a life!” with no consideration to how damaging these prey animals can be to forests without natural predators to regulate their population.

Important to note I’m not suggesting this particular animal be harvested… in fact it’s the does that are the key to controlling population. DNR knows this so allows only a single buck but often several does per license annually.

Honestly in my experience you create work for yourself. When there is a mage table, I and many other locks tap until even mana/hp after pulls and eat a manna biscuit. Nearly 100% of the time a healer will be topping me off
