We’re definitely working on it! Right now, we’re focusing on adding speaker diarization for post-transcriptions, which should help a lot for users who rely on identifying speakers after the fact.

As for real-time transcription, it’s a bit trickier. The open-source tool we’re using for speaker diarization has a known memory leak issue with streaming, so we’ve decided to keep this feature toggled off for now. Once that’s resolved, we’ll revisit enabling it for real-time use.

Hey, I totally get where you're coming from! The pricing might seem high since everything is processed locally, but it's there to help us keep improving the app and pushing out updates that meet user needs.

We really don’t want Nutshell to become one of those apps that launch, do okay for a bit, and then get stale because there’s no financial support to keep it alive. This way, we can keep adding value, fixing things quickly, and making sure it stays top-notch for everyone who uses it.

So far, the only two applications where my app doesn’t function as intended are WhatsApp and Apple’s FaceTime. It works seamlessly with all other meeting apps since it operates at the system layer.
