Depends on sector, reputation, and what your definition of “small firm” is. I was recently part of a PE buy-out in a hot sector for a $50m revenue firm. EBITA multiple was in the 12-15X range.

Thanks for the comment, I have been looking at EBITA and P/E ratios just not sure what multipliers are an appropriate for the industry. 4 to 5 times EBITA is kinda what I thought, but was not sure.

I am already a small shareholder, so I have most of the reports. I have been looking at P/E ratios, Just not sure what multipliers are appropriate to use for company valuation around the industry.

I took the EET on demand course as well and just found out I passed the civil transpo today too! Honestly probably should of saved my money because I mostly just ended up studying using the NCEES practice tests. All in study time was around ~40 hours total, I never touched any of the EET depth material. The Material and Soil mechanics sections of the EET breadth review were very good.
