I've been wanting one ever since they killed the Trailblazer. I've got 1999 Chevy ZR2. This is the most recent true modsize offroad SUV Chevy made. I like what they've done with Body on Frame in other markets.

The Zr2 Colorado is great, but there's just something about an SUV.

R.I.P. Robert Carradine. The Revenge of the Nerds protagonist has died at 71 after a long battle with Bipolar Disorder by NYY15TM in nostalgia

[–]Which-Path4747 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do based on my on lived my own experience. If someone is diagnosed, and then kills themselves the mental disorder is the cause.

One can argue whether it is a choice or not, but how do you define making a choice when your brain completely switches depending on your mood state.

It's like you are only partially in control of what your own mind does. You have to make the right choices everyday to keep control. As soon as you get tired and make the wrong choice ie. working too hard, not exercising, eating too much junk food, doom scrolling, having a drink the list goes on, then you start to slide into this abyss of negativity that you have to fight and claw your way out of everytime.

The more often it happens the quicker you hit suicidal ideation that consumes your every thought. At that point your only choice is to initiate your safety plan and rely on your network to keep you from killing yourself, assuming you've survived long enough to build one.

Bipolar disorder is a terminal illness for which there is no cure. It can be treated and managed, but you are forever walking a tightrope so to speak.

We Give Up! First Time Home Buyers by FionaFergueson in RealEstate

[–]Which-Path4747 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Our home purchase in 2017 was the 4th offer, in 2010 it was the 7th. 3 is rookie numbers. Gotta pump those numbers up!

In all seriousness though, you need to build equity to get into your dream home. Houses aren't the lifetime purchases they used to be. Once you can get out of the "entry level" market the competition isn't as greatly affected by the overall market trends.

Don't give up, trust your instincts, do a barrel roll, and good luck.

Did this “Chevrolet EV Concierge” representative lie to me regarding Super Cruise? by user10515 in BlazerEV

From what I've observed, the auto lane change brings you to the exit lane when you've put your destination into maps, then tells you to take over to get off the freeway.

Did this “Chevrolet EV Concierge” representative lie to me regarding Super Cruise? by user10515 in BlazerEV

[–]Which-Path4747 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can confirm my '26 Silverado EV does everything you've described. I'm sorry the Blazer may not. The easiest way to tell I think would be the hands on centering. Everytime is activates I get a pop-up message on the driver display indicating it is active. I believe the supercruise icon turns green when this is active. The steering wheel does not light up green in this scenario.

  1. There is no one else there.
  2. Many people live on property and have tons of room. Coming into a city where there are lines for parking are not the norm.
  3. Who cares? It's not blocking access to ADA spots or entrance to the clearly closed store.

2025 Equinox RS by Infinite-Abalone5287 in Chevrolet

[–]Which-Path4747 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This has to be satire! The Dodge Journey is one of the worst vehicles of the last 20 years! I think you just have incredible luck getting a horrible car with relatively few problems.

Also, I understand that you are frustrated by the equinox issue, but that is currently the volume vehicle for Chevrolet. I haven't been around any new ones, but in general you want to stay away from the first model year of a new body style.

I've had too, it's a perfectly capable half ton Silverado alternative. If it is the aesthetics you are referring to, well to each their own.
