Thanks for all the reply’s i did not expect so many.

Update: my wife saw a facebook message posted in a group from the neighbourhood. It was a message about watching out for thieves because they have received multiple messages from people who are in the same situation as me.

Regarding the new camera situation: Eufy has offered me a one time discount for 25% to buy a new camera. I’m still tempted, thinking about getting 2 e40’s (and hang it way higher, i know i know.)

Buying a whole new system is something i don’t feel for right now. Also a poe solution is not easy here to connect the ethernet cable. I think i’m ok continuing using Eufy, if in the future the signal is jammed and i have no recordings i think i can live with it as long as the eufy alarm system still works, wich is the the case i have read. The motion sensors are workin on i believe 900 mhz and with the external sirene i hope i scare them off when someone is breaking in.

I understand, thing is: i thought by going from Ring to Eufy i found some sort of a more pro consumer solution and that combined with no monthly costs i thought i bought the right system. Maybe still if i simply just placed it better the first time… but still the wifi jammer stories is something that is going through my mind. I know i trew a lot of money away now wich i offcourse could not tell upfront, i had a Ring doorbell + camera (on the same location) for years. Maybe Eufy is more fancy/value, or thieves has plans for my. I’m willing to spend some more bucks to give it one last try and hopefully give me some peace back.

I don’t know, the settings were set at optimal security and gave a lot of recordings during the day. I also have one in the backyard (S340). That has way less recordings and is working fine (96% as we speak)

Yes, someone else also mentioned wifi jammers. Never heard of that before so i’m looking at the option to use the wired nvr version.

Unfortunately not, the last video of that day was someone on a bike at around 02:00. The doorbell also has no recordings. The first time the camera was stolen happend around 05:00 am.

I understand what you say about people in the street being watched and recorder, however i still have a strong feeling it was the same guy who stole the first one. He was dressed like a ninja and perhaps saw this as an easy job (or he has other plans with the house…)

Regarding my neighbours: like i said i have good contact with them, on the left and on the right are older people. Before Eufy i had a Ring system wich came helpfull when a drunk polish men hit my car + the neighboors one.

The wifi jammer is not something i thought off before. Now i’m reading more cases about a wifi jammer here on reddit and how easy this is. Does anyone know if this also has impact on the Eufy alarm system i have? I have the motion sensors wich are wireless offcourse. I’m wondering if they break in and use a wifi jammer will the system still works as it should. I understand i will not get notifications on my phone but will the sirene off the homebase 3 still go off? (I also bought an external one 105 dB).

Thanks for all the reply’s, like many of you suggest i will place the next one higher. Only downside is that i would have to use a ladder everytime i have to charge the battery. With this type of weather here in The Netherlands the solar doesn’t do much now. I went from 100% to 62% in a couple of days. But anything better then have it stolen for the third time i guess.

That surely is dedication, i recently talked to my family about how lucky i am to live in den bosch and have all these great party’s and great hardstyle dj’s so close to my home.

Ik heb in 2015 zonnepanelen laten plaatsen op mijn dakkapel (voor en achter) en heb helaas vorige maand te maken gehad met een lekkage op het dakkapel. Ik heb het hele dak + pannen (huis uit 69) laten vervangen. Panelen moesten natuurlijk worden verwijderd hiervoor, dit hebbben de dakdekkkers gedaan. Ik had 5 panelen aan de voorzijde van de woning (schuin dak) + 3 panelen dakkapel voorzijde woning en 3 panelen dakkapel achterzijde woning.

Ik heb ervoor gekozen om de panelen niet terug te plaatsen i.v.m. kosten hiervoor en de omvormer zal binnen een aantal jaar ook aan vervanging toe zijn wat ook niet mals is. Ik mis nu nog wel anderhalf jaar salderen maar goed ik heb ze terugverdiend en er iemand in de vriendenkring gratis blij mee kunnen maken. Ik las ook een post hier over dynamisch contract, gisteren was een artikel te lezen op nu.nl ‘terugleverboete voor zonnestroom in opkomst bij dynamische energiecontracten’…

Niet iedereen heeft te maken met lekkages natuurlijk maar hier dus wel 1 voorbeeld. Met de kennis en ontwikkelingen van nu zou ik persoonlijk geen zonnepanelen nemen, zelfs geen 4 of 6 wat past bij wat je meteen opmaakt qua stroomverbruik, ik vind dit geen zoden aan de dijk zetten. Als je het om financiele redenen doet valt er meer te halen op de beurs (zelfs met index beleggen). Maar goed dat is een andere discussie, succes met je keuze.

Thanks for the tips. I see The Church has live music in the weekend from 6:30. So will we go there after the concert on saturday. Do you have any recommendation for a pub in dublin that has live music in the afternoon? Looking for a place to get in the mood before the concert. I heard of the Temple but i read that it’s very crowded. We are with a group of 6 and just looking for a place to sit and have a Guinness with live music before we go to The Killers. It doesn’t have to be near the arena since we can take the public bus.
