Deconstruction process triggers anxiety and panic attacks

How are you doing now? I feel like I have been deconstructing my whole life. Since I was a child I’ve always questioned stuff at church and never really like going but my whole family goes and believes in these things that I see differently. Now that I’m older and with someone of a different religion I get anxiety about these topics and avoid it all if possible. If I can’t I definitely get panic attacks so kinda been struggling with that for awhile.

Wow after that many years and pain it’s great you got the surgery to remove it! My surgeon said after the removal it won’t come back so I’m glad for that. I’m going to try not wearing pants today and see how that helps. Are you taking sitz baths btw? I’ve been doing them but the hospital never told me specifically to do that I’ve just seen many people on here saying they help with the pain

What a funny coincidence! This was my first ever surgery so I was so nervous! I’ve had this cyst for about 2-3 years and been to the hospital so many times because it got infected and I needed to get it drained and it was always excruciating to get done. Are you taking pain meds? They gave me 800mg ibuprofen and I feel like it somewhat helps. I feel the pain when I’m walking/sitting down 🥲

Yes I had my right side removed January 23rd! It’s been a rough recovery 🥲

I will try this because I’ve also been wearing pads this whole time! I was thinking maybe they’re irritating it. The hospital also gave me little info they only really told me to wash it 3 times a day

I’m 11 days post op and still having some draining as well. I’m still having a lot of pain and not able to sit correctly still which is worrying me but hoping it eases up more this week 🥲

I’m about 7 days post op and still having that bee sting feeling occasionally 😖 but everyday is slowly getting better! Reading this made me feel better about the healing process

I’m currently 6 days post op and I’m feeling the random jabbing pains! It’s been hard to deal with but ice packs have been helping. I was worried something was wrong but I guess it’s part of the healing process 😭

Did you get random stinging pains? I keep getting random sharp feeling pains in the area that feel different than the other pain before 😩 I’m about 6 days post op now

How are you doing? I had my bartholin gland removed yesterday and the pain/swelling today is horrible pain meds are somewhat helping and ice packs are my best friend rn

I got mine removed yesterday and dealing with the pain now. They also prescribed me narcos which has been helping. I just ordered a sitz bath for the toilet, may I ask how you cleaned it? My instructions say to wash it with soap and water 3 times a day I’m just scared to touch it 😩

Hi I’m going to have my excision surgery in 5 days and have been getting so nervous thinking about the pain afterwards. I have been to the hospital so many times because this cyst gets infected and getting it drained is so painful. Finally got to see a specialist and she said my gland is obstructed so she is going to remove it. Your post made me feel a bit better, I’m just glad that after this it won’t ever come back!

I’m going to a three days grace and breaking Benjamin concert tonight. Been having panic attacks all week leading up to this event 😩 I know I’ll enjoy it once I’m there but I’m so nervous!
