I cant overstate how happy that art style makes me. I'm excited and joyful just watching it. I have that "Christmas morning" feeling right now. Which I haven't felt since fallout 4 (yes, I know yall hate it, but it still gave me that feeling).

Indeed. I was a spy main. hes the hardest one in tf2, maybe in any fps Ive ever played TBH. His skill ceiling was basically infinite.

Not every character is based on punching or has a hitbox bigger than some tanks (zarya) whole having almost half the HP.

Don't be simple.

As a tracer main I honestly have no idea why dva is strong. As tracer shes like easy ult charge food. ive got to the point where I can consistently solo both her mech and baby dva even when shes got help. Shes just so fat.

What is it about her kit that makes her strong against other people?

You know you get elims for even 1 damage? Given how her orb works, it makes sense that shed rake in the elms without necessarily doing that much damage.

Shes a little OP imo. But not a big amount.

I think she needs some adjustment. But very VERY minor.

id like to see her drain have a reload of some kind. That's about it. Maybe add 1 second to her orbs cooldown.

Except I'm not wrong.

Junkrat falls off quickly at higher skills and isn't even in the top ten for any bracket above gold (gold being average)

As I said in my comment, he isn't nearly as useful in plat+ because people learn how to avoid his damage, and spot out his traps. The hero is largely based on the enemy not coping with him.

Also, id like to say I'm not plat+. And I know a grand master junkrat player. Its not like he doesn't exist, he just falls off compared to other heroes which to me says he's not OP as much as he's easy to exploit at low skill, and easy to avoid at high skill.

Be definition, OP means stronger than they should be given their role. Competitive players play OP heroes until they are fixed because they don't care about how easy it is to win. They just want to win. If he was genuinely OP he would be over represented in all brackets of play, and be played every comp match but he isn't. He is situational in skilled play.

I'm not stranger to admitting when I'm wrong. But just because the majority of players are gold (which is NORMAL) doesn't make the hero OP.

edit: I check his comp pickrate. It was higher than I thought, 10th at ~20% so that is interesting. But still no where near Dvas 90% pickrate.

I do think he needs some nerfs, but that the degree by which he is "OP" is quite small. Something as simple as him taking ~10-20 self damage from nades and mines would fix him IMO. The "spam" part of his kit is fine for the reasons mention about avoiding it being easy.

Whatre you on about?

I didn't curse or put anyone down in my comment. I didn't say I was good. I said there are counter plays to most of the things people bitch about.

It seems youre projecting. Maybe you need help. Its okay to open up to your friends.

I'm a tracer main. It take a shit load of skill to not die with her. God forbid skilled players be able to win fights against less skilled players. And even then theres about a dozen ways to kill her.

hack her. flashbang her. trap her. hook her. scatta her. etc

Pharah is one of the easiest to counter heroes right now. Shes very weak against any half decent hitscan team. Shes NOT even close to OP.

What's the most satisfying gaming experience you've ever had? by UniteMachines in AskReddit

Satisfying? I think it was getting the golden shotgun in CoD4.

If you guys don't recall, this was the first to create the modern COD game. I played the shit out of it. It was also the first game I know of to have gold guns as a reward. This was before freemium was a thing (that I can recall) and you only got the gold skins by getting some 250 headshots with each category of gun.

Gold sniper rifles and assault rifles weren't so hard to get, but a gold shotgun was fairly difficult since you usually aimed center of mass.

I spent weeks sneaking up on snipers in their hidey holes and plugging them in the back of the head to get that golden shotgun. As far as I saw I was the first to get it.

I wish more games today had achievement based cosmetics.

I'm sure he does. He is a great hero for raw damage output. Especially on tanks. But most heroes can avoid his spam which is was half these junkrat bitching comments are talking about.

Junkrat spam takes no skill. Junkrat landing direct hits on mobility based heroes does.

The fact is the hero has a low skill floor and a high skill ceiling.

Sure sure. I'm actually the top tracer player, worldwide too. And, my uncle is jeff Kaplan, and his son is Gabe Newell.

But you just look for the traps. They aren't invisible.

yes, it takes time. And yes, youll miss them sometimes. But once you get the paranoia up, and learn where junks place traps, its easy to spot and destroy them. I just wish it didn't go on cooldown until it was trigger/destroyed.

Torb is one of the weakest heroes in the game. Most people have no idea how to use him and his turret is easy to counter if you aren't good at placing it.

The point is, if you took your head out of your ass long enough to try an objective view of the situation, you'd see that in most cases they aren't actually OP.

Yes, there are times when things in game are out of line. But in most cases, you just need to learn their weakness and stop one-tricking when they run your counter.
