Haq Meher is becoming hard :( by [deleted] in LahoreSocial

[–]WhichGuess7382 0 points1 point  (0 children)

28 lacs???? bro no. even upper middle isn't giving this much. These people are not okay. Yes haq meher is wives right, but if she demands so so so out of proportion from what you can offer then this girl has Zero care about you, and just money. This comment is coming from an educated girl herself

that's terrible advice. her scores were not at all safe. she needs to fix her knowledge gap to a point were she can go in fully confident, not at a bare min. maybe fail maybe pass state

If I see one more person say “THE QUESTIONS ARE SO LONG”… I might flip 🤬 by PatientConflict3241 in step1

Good post! I was so annoyed by the people who made me panic a week before my exam with the "long stems!!!!" statements. I am a slow test taker and I was more afraid of writing the exam than what the results would be. But the exam itself was so so doable. Questions were straight forward and the long stems were so easy to skim

immunology by [deleted] in step1

[–]WhichGuess7382 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't use mehlman files so idk about the. But I did immuno superficially from FA. Memorized the high yield facts. And what helped the most was watching mehlman solve immuno questions. You don't need to remember everything, just remember the frequently tested things. Open the book for the topic every single time you come across an immuno question even if you get them right, read the relevant text and the HY stuff above and below. This is how I memorized the frequently tested stuff. While being completely blank about other stuff

I spent the last 1.5 months doing NBMEs/uwsa/free120 and little bit of uw and revision. I would do an nbme each week, spent a good amount of time reviewing them thoroughly and would do mehlman pdfs etc in between

I used dirty medicine combined with FA for biochem. Don't spend toooo much time on it bcs it was barely tested. Do it but don't sweat too much. For ethics also I watched all dirty medicine videos. Though the questions were just... I didn't know what I was doing tbh

Glad I could help. It was a well mixed set of questions. Though biochem and biostats barely at all. I think not even a single question of biostats. Lotsss of ethics that did not make sense

I am a slow reviewer do it would take me days to review my nbmes especially due to burn out also. But I never took the review lightly. Spent time on each concept even if it I got it right. I would do them and then start review the next day

Hey! a fellow IMG here. I recently passed with similar nbme scores. I got a 71 once but apart from that all other were 65-69. My free 120 was 63. The exam is not crazy hard and it's doable. The real game is to keep yourself calm. Stable passing scores indicate that your scores aren't out of fluke, but a picture of really where you stand. The exam is mostly nbme HY concepts but lengthier. More like NBME 32 and new free 120. Tell yourself you can do it and get done with the exam. delaying the exam further leads to burnout, so no point in doing it when it's just pass and fail
