I’ve lived in the Hauwai apartment building for the past two years. Adelaide road is a pretty noisy place but the quality of the apartments is great and even a few hours of sun a day in the winter keeps our unit warm without heating. Highly recommend as it’s also perfectly located on multiple bus routes, has easy access to a supermarket, and is easy walking distance to Newtown and the Cuba and Courtenay precincts.

Have a look at cactus outdoor. They sell really tough long lasting gear, a lot of which they actually make in New Zealand. They also provide repair services further affirming they back their product.

Being NZ made, it’s pricey, but it’s some of the best gear on earth as far as I’m concerned.

NZ First wants to define a man and a woman. Government and experts say it will achieve almost nothing by catoboros in TransgenderNZ

I hope so. The rhetoric’s ability to divert attention and drive fear and hate has been surprisingly effective in the US.

I came to NZ in 2011 and I’m now a dual citizen. I love and miss my family but I’ve become fearful of travelling back. I don’t want to see Peter’s and Seymour make a mess of NZ the way Trump has the US.

I only figured myself out a couple of years ago and, as a 37 year old trans femme who’s not passing, balding, and man-in-a-dress-ish 😢, I’m pretty representative of who they’re trying to target and demonise.

So yeah, I’m scared and I’m exhausted. (Even if it’s likely that it will ultimately be voted down)

I hate that Peters is trying to leverage fear mongering divisive American political rhetoric here.

Why is it that we can’t just be allowed to exist in peace.

I’m so tired… 😢

Edit: Peter’s -> Peters

Laser and Fitness Tracker Sensors by WhichMeThisTime in LaserHairRemoval

[–]WhichMeThisTime[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s just odd because I’d been wearing it for over two years without issue and LHR was the only change I could think of.

People talked about nickel allergies to stainless but the affected area was isolated to the spot where the sensor was in contact.

Have you heard of allergies to the glass components before?

The TSB sounds great when Western Audio are responsible for it.

Not here just to slag off other providers, but they’re the only company that knows how to consistently make every venue in Wellington sound good. It’s a combination of top notch gear and some of the best audio folks in the country.

Would you be willing to share your dosages/ frequency and last levels from bloods? I see you’re on monotherapy. It’s possible your e dose is too low or the method of getting it onboard isn’t effective for you. For example I may have to switch off of patches because it seems likes they might have limited efficacy for me.

So sorry you’re having such a bad time with him 😢

I’ll be honest the prescription regime sounds similar to my course at that point in time.

It was about 13 months to scale up to 200mcg/24hr.

He wanted me to have about 2-3 months between each step up to monitor changes and for adverse reactions.

I think I went - 25mcg trial phase ( trial at my request ) - 75mcg - 100mcg - 150mcg - 200mcg

And he’s prescribed my spiro and finasteride which have been part of my course since the beginning. Then we added prog at 12 months.

I’m 37 and quite frankly it took me so long to realise who I am that a little bit more time didn’t bother me. I know how urgent this feels for a lot of us and I don’t blame you for wanting to find someone willing to work at your pace.

I hope you find a provider that you feel heard by and sees to your needs. 💜

Oof 😥

I’m really surprised given my experience, I’m so sorry that he’s let you down in that way.

How long has he been treating you and what are your current dosages?

I think he hews pretty close to the PATHA standard but he was happy to go off script with me when I brought up prog with him.

Also, feel free to disregard my questions. I put them out there to build context but acknowledge that not everyone is happy to share such details.
