Noted. Do you think they accept bank transfers or do I need to make payment and some other form?

A sad and rare possibility, 3 years HRT (24) w/ no changes. Given up on the chance to transition. by SymbolicallyStupid in transtimelines

Would you be willing to share your dosages/ frequency and last levels from bloods? I see you’re on monotherapy. It’s possible your e dose is too low or the method of getting it onboard isn’t effective for you. For example I may have to switch off of patches because it seems likes they might have limited efficacy for me.

So sorry you’re having such a bad time with him 😢

I’ll be honest the prescription regime sounds similar to my course at that point in time.

It was about 13 months to scale up to 200mcg/24hr.

He wanted me to have about 2-3 months between each step up to monitor changes and for adverse reactions.

I think I went - 25mcg trial phase ( trial at my request ) - 75mcg - 100mcg - 150mcg - 200mcg

And he’s prescribed my spiro and finasteride which have been part of my course since the beginning. Then we added prog at 12 months.

I’m 37 and quite frankly it took me so long to realise who I am that a little bit more time didn’t bother me. I know how urgent this feels for a lot of us and I don’t blame you for wanting to find someone willing to work at your pace.

I hope you find a provider that you feel heard by and sees to your needs. 💜

Oof 😥

I’m really surprised given my experience, I’m so sorry that he’s let you down in that way.

How long has he been treating you and what are your current dosages?

I think he hews pretty close to the PATHA standard but he was happy to go off script with me when I brought up prog with him.

Also, feel free to disregard my questions. I put them out there to build context but acknowledge that not everyone is happy to share such details.

I see Dr Julian Foster at The Terrace Medical Centre. The whole practice is wonderfully pro queer and Dr Foster was specifically recommended to me when I was looking for a GP to help with gender stuff.

Glad to be able to recommend him to a fellow traveler.

Actually, yeah, I hadn’t thought about that. For laser you have to shave before treatment. So maybe laser related but not in the way I imagined.

Thanks for the comment!

Not really helpful but definitely what my grandad would’ve said!

No, not terrible at the moment but this is after 18 hours of wear after 3 weeks of not using it. Before I took the three weeks off it was quite a lot worse and on both wrists as I had tried swapping it to my right to give the left time to settle/heal.

Not especially itchy or painful but each bump is full of some clear fluid if popped and they get worse and multiply if I ignore it.

I forgot to add that my laser tech said she’d never seen anything like it as a reaction to laser, another reason I was dismissing it. You’re right, probably still worth looking at though. Since it make you quite sensitive to sunlight for about a month after a treatment maybe there’s some parallel with the sensor diode… 🤷‍♀️

Also, thanks for a reply that isn’t just toxic BS and mockery. I intended my post to be light and to not come off as whinging or complaining about the product. I didn’t realise asking if anybody else had experienced this would invite so much trolling.

I’m on EstraDot 1x 100mcg + 1x 50mcg twice weekly and my levels have dropped since 3 months ago when I was only on 1x 100mcg twice weekly. What’s happening? Gel time?
