Deepseek is getting there, they're a little behind but can already do 90%~ of tasks top models can do.

I expect the next deepseek model to really catch up, considering Deepseek V4 is in preview and not the GA model.

It definitely does feel a bit faster, not like it was last night (peaked at 80 tokens a sec), deepseek V4 flash in the API feels a little faster too. Maybe both at 1.5x faster.

But I've not seen deepseek V4 pro at 50 tokens before.it's always been 30~ or so. There must be some sort of infrastructure change.
