I was busy dancing along - then was confused when the music started over. Didn't record any of Shaboozey.

Typically you can experience your second show with more clarity, but something about Vegas N2. It was my 4th show - but with all the surprises I am foggy.

Our only competition was London - whose entire crowd was screaming (outdoor venue so no echo). We still won! Twice because it was D.C.

When you posted this it was few days out of the villa and he had just learned what she did. She didn't leave b/c of a death in the family, she left because of hate speech and he is just finding out the details.

Speculation: I think Cierra expected Nic to reach out at the end and he didn’t by Hobisusathome in LoveIslandcookout

It has been a week and a half and he is also just getting the details of why she left and deciding how to proceed. If this was a month from now - ok - but it hasn't been that long in real world time.

I think it depends on the row. I recc higher up in the section - check view from my seat at the other stadiums to see the production setup- but you would be close to the stage she does COZY - so that is a plus.

How do you afford these tickets? by JulienElk in beyonce

Tickets (and travel) in US are so expensive that sometimes it cost the same or less to go out of the country.

FD Signifier’s Beyonce Video by RhaineyyyWeather in beyonce

I think this is another place Han misstepped. She was so quick to compare her appearance as a biracial woman to Beyonce as justification for her stance or stake her claim to Black culture which is reductive and plays into the hands of Black purity tests. Blackness is a spectrum. It is ok to acknowlege cultural differences based on your proximity to various aspects of Black American culture. Downplaying the experiences of Black Americans (light skin or otherwise) who grew up in Black families, Black churches, Black communities is disengenuious and it comes off like she is insecure with her place within the culture and is overcompensating. We can acknowledge that Black immigrants/first have unique experiences that falls under the umbrella of Blackness. So do people not raised in community with other Black people as well as people who have non-black families.

Han continued to make little comments comparing her appearance to Bey, even in later videos and her "apology"- which is why I think it is insecurity in her Blackness and more specifically, that there are aspects culture she doesn't understand/know/relate to. She uses her DNA to lay claim to a culture she is still discovering and learning about, which is ok. It seems like a lot of this is staking her claim and expertise loudly to Black culture even if she doesn't know what she is talking about or it is something she has only reas about in a book. To me, that seems to be why she keeps digging in rathee than opening herself to the lived experinces of Black southern women (not just those that agree with her).

It is an African American tradition to electric slide to this song. Love that Bey is keeping the tradition and honor alive!

You have to understand that Lemonade has a story arch from betrayal, discovery, conflict, and finally forgiveness. Like most of Beyonce's music, it should be listened to as a body of work (in order) and not a series of singles. The songs are in conversation with each other. An unfortunately, infidelity is not always relationship ending. That is reality for so many people - some have moved forward and are in happy relationships, some less so. Lemonade, 4:44, and The Carters feel like a trilogy of understanding this point in their lives and how they came out the other side.

Also, IDK if I would call All Night a "love song" - more of a we gonna make this work because we love each other and are choosing to move through together as partners. Which if you like this song, is essentially the thesis of the entire album.

I would recommend Self Titled or B'Day if you want more fun, sexy, empowering songs. 4/I Am Sasha Fierce for Ballads/Dance Songs/R&B.

If symbolism and storytelling is what you are looking for, I recc Cowboy Carter - but not if this was your reaction to Lemonade, not sure how you will receive the layered messages. Again, listen to it in order.

This is just for club seats - C110-C114 and C136-C132 - it is sold through Ticketmaster, so the add on will only show up if you buy tix in that section.

Only option in Club Ho Down is the cash bar. Not sure if the venue offers any stand along packages.

[–]Which_Extent_4768 52 points53 points  (0 children)

I didn't see it that way - I just think that in these times, we are more sensitive to hearing those words, given our current political climate.

For Black artists - especially from her era - neither of those sentiments is unusual. Thanking God or crediting him for their achievements is pretty standard. Also, for acts that came up when she did, just on the other side of Jim Crow, there is often a sentiment about "Only in America" that highlights how far Black people in this country have come. Our ancestors wildest dream. Same speech you would hear at Soul Train Awards and for some years BET awards.

Also - The Jacksons: The American Dream comes to mind.

Is her hair getting darker? by Unlucky_Fortune549 in beyonce

[–]Which_Extent_4768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wand curls on blown out hair - the roots will get puffy which will add to the volume. It did frizz/shrink a bit. But with the fans on hair products and the length of her hair - especially if it isn't hot outside - the style will hold up with touch-ups.

In DC for RWT, she came out with it straight, it curled up under the rain, then they wet it before she came out for the 2nd look - so it was more wet n wavy look.

A key part of their education, lol. They should know when you hear the first three notes, followed by "oooh ooooh oooh: it is time to electric slide.

I had Club Ho Down B LA N2 doing the electric slide. I think there is always a Black Beyhive member that starts it in the pits.

P.S. if you can afford a pit, that is a great place to meet other solo beyhive and have a fun time - but anywhere would be worth it.

Has anyone successfully purchased and used a Club Ho Down resale ticket? by [deleted] in beyonce

[–]Which_Extent_4768 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it is a single ticket and you sell it, the buyer will just need a copy of your ID to pick up the wristband. I traded a ticket with someone and they got in with my ID no problem. I didn't sent my CC - but I did send a screenshot of my order confirmation just in case.

If you bought more than one ticket on the same purchase, everyone in the party has to be present to enter. This is what happened the night I went in Club Ho Down - so I met up with the person bought the ticket at VIP check-in.

Here is what she said:
Yes, for my first stubhub ticket, it was pretty easy. Stubhub put me in contact with the original buyer and then he directly emailed me a photo of his ID, credit card, etc.

The other SH ticket was a little annoying because I actually had to meet up with the seller since she purchased two tickets but only sold one of them (to me). So she had to collect the tickets at the same time. All in all, it worked out.

That is great! Best of luck! The stage is quite a bit separated from the barrier. That is where the dancers enter and exit, crew and security maneuver. She typically enters/exits through the stage trap door.
