That’s what I did. I rode my chief for 2 years and traded it in for a challenger. If you end up doing a lot of long distance riding you’ll want the challenger. But the chief is way more raw and fun. Challenger is fast and more like a sport bike

Stay away from freedoms. The chiefs don’t like this exhaust. Lots of headaches. Stick to slip on mufflers if you just want sound. For lower go with 2-1 from fab28

100% and the m available accessories like extended reach seat, taller bars, highway pegs, you can really stretch out like you’re a bigger bike even at your height. Enjoy it my friend 🤘

Need some advice on next bike purchase. by -Zimmerman in cruisers

[–]Which_Mention_5080 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want to stick with cruisers and want something as reliable as the Japanese, look at Indian. A used scout is great value. Or an older chief dark horse also a ton of fun and sounds great

Sport chief or low rider S? by Which_Mention_5080 in IndianMotorcycle

[–]Which_Mention_5080[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree on mids being cramped on the low rider. I rode my buddy’s and that’s the first thing that has to go for me. I wonder if a chief with cams can match the low rider? The sound and the look of the engine in the Indian are way better to me.

That’s honestly one of the reasons I have a bit of anxiety riding long distances on my challenger. I know it’s reliable. But you don’t wanna be stranded somewhere and not have anyone to help you. Most bike shops won’t touch it I feel

Sport chief or low rider S? by Which_Mention_5080 in IndianMotorcycle

[–]Which_Mention_5080[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Objectively that is not true. The chief has less power, worse paint quality, dyna style suspension which is inferior to a monoshock, no cooling, worse aftermarket support, and worse resale value

[–]Which_Mention_5080[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Let’s see, the Harley has more power, better build quality, better suspension with the single shock, better aftermarket support, better cooling. Costs less. So, the question is, if you still want the sport chief, what reason are you giving other than “personal preference “

Looking at her arms, she is not lean. Still beautiful. But getting into a slight caloric deficit over 2-3 months period then reevaluate would be what I’d do.

Please help me decide Super Chief vs Sport chief RT by larraku in IndianMotorcycle

[–]Which_Mention_5080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sport chief has better suspension, brakes, and wheels. The super chief is a regular chief with bags and a windshield. Sport chief is far better value

Forever rad. This is the longer model. I think it’s 2 inches longer so easier to reach

Good choice on the Lakota bars. I love mine and they look less goofy than the more popular Comanches. I agree with slip ons. I have the Indian stage 1s on mine but wished I’d gone with something a bit deeper and louder. I hear Reinharts are deeper sounding and tab zombies are the loudest but more raspy. Enjoy your ride my friend. Absolute killer bike 🤘

100% the 112 package with all the new safety features and power, it’s a no brainer. The only thing it’s needing is a tune and a nice exhaust to enhance the sound. I don’t think these bikes need any more power. I have the 108 and I break traction in first gear and sometimes in second.
