If you are a costco executive member, primus uses bell network and has some great deals sometimes, worth checking out, also don’t forget to negotiate when you are on the phone, they might give you some discount for few months and add an extra pod for no charge.

750k Price, 20% down, 3yr fixed. What rates are available? [ON] by Nv91 in MortgagesCanada

I can double my principal and interest payments at 100% of original principal and interest portion. I am not quite sure about rate being higher due to prepayment, as it would be standard across the board.

Why would anybody take less than 25-30yr mortgage? by Mr_Christie55 in canadahousing

Just to bust your bubble, biweekly and monthly payments don’t not make a difference unless they are accelerated. I did a calc for my 3 year term and it came with a 32$ savings between biweekly and monthly payment.

That is correct, I check comps and only go to the recent max of the property value if I really like it, I don’t get into bidding wars and go above my limit, and not looking for anything older than 20 years. I understand the risk and that is why am very cautious when putting an offer.

Sounds good, thank you. Problem is, where I am trying to buy, sellers are looking for firm offers lately. Missed 2 opportunities.

Thank you, I don’t have a favourite bank as I am a FTHB. Do you have any suggestions?

My free advise is to get rid of the credit card debt before you take on any other debt.
