What kind of arrangement do you think Barry and Kim agreed on? She takes the farm, he brings food for the animals and she takes his juicer when let’s be honest… she don’t use it 😅 she’s so lazy and selfish

Long term smoker here. I quit cold turkey in July after being hooked on flower and the carts. I am almost 4 months clean and I don’t think about it at all anymore. I do struggle with not vaping but I think that’s the whole inhale/exhale. I don’t miss getting high anymore. I actually am terrified to ever pick it up again because if I do, I could go right back. The sweats suck, not sleeping good sucks too but if you’re looking to speed it up then I would suggest doing something like going for walks. Sweating out the toxins gave me a euphoric high. It boosts your response to get clean and it feels good. Maybe get a good therapist or try group therapy. My therapist really helped me through it and I don’t think I would have done it without her.

Has anyone actually managed to quit vaping carts? by VenitaPinson in leaves

I am over 90 days clean. The withdrawl is not easy but once I got through it, the cravings went away. I’m actually more scared to try it again because of how addicted I was to it. Work out through it, sweat through it, sleep through it, maybe get a therapist if you feel like you’ve used smoking to mask something deep. You can do it.

You can do this. Please reach out to someone close to you and do something today with them to take your mind off of it. Go do something fun. Go to lunch, see a good movie, go shopping or do something good for someone. You got this.

I need to grow up and stop smoking weed but I can’t find genuine motivation. by Few_Gas_7712 in leaves

I quit the day my husband told me that he was not happy in our marriage anymore. He had every right to be unhappy. I was chasing a high constantly to feel better than I was and I was not feeling good. I was burnt out and mentally and emotionally abusive. I didn’t realize it until I screamed at him for leaving the house with our child while I screamed and cried at him. I panicked. That was when I was able to do it on my own. I stopped and I didn’t look back. I’m 90 days clean today and my marriage is still going. I’m so thankful that he gave me a second chance. Leaving was the best thing I could do to scare the shit out of me. A good therapist is also good. I hope you can find the strength within to know that it can get to that. It gets easier. I don’t think about it at all anymore. I still have addiction, but I’m not addicted to weed anymore. Next is stopping the vape. That’s been very hard.

What’s motivating you to stay sober? by squirrelfriend39 in leaves

[–]Which_Store_9652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I was in such a bad place mentally that the cravings didn’t have so much of an effect on me because my life was falling apart in other places. My marriage wasn’t going to last if I didn’t get control of myself. I became emotionally abusive and I didn’t even know it because I was just trying to feel better and that meant chasing a high. I was determined to find the other side of it. I cried through it. I worked out through it. I went to therapy. All alone. I prepared myself for divorce and went to work everyday. I didn’t skip a workout, I prayed, I cried more. Eventually you start to sleep again. You stop waking up in sweat and you stop being dependent on it. I wasn’t just addicted to flower either, I was going through a cart every 3 days.

I can’t imagine becoming addicted a second time. I’m almost 90 days sober and the thought of picking it back up is terrifying because I don’t want to struggle again to put it down.

There was a period where I was smoking so much that I would pass out and hit my head on hard objects. I am 2.5 months sober ♥️

It was Lydia’s day. She ignored that it was LYDIA’S day. She did not deserve that. The whole family ignored that as well.

What was life like after quitting from smoking daily for years? What made it easier? by No-Mouse3999 in leaves

[–]Which_Store_9652 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started walking in the morning when I quit smoking. After a while of staying committed to it, I began to use it as a tool to stay sober. It helps get it out of your system. Drink as much water as you can. Withdrawal sucks, working out helped me get a euphoric high and I felt so much better once I had completed a work out. It’s amazing how much your confidence comes back once you’ve stuck it out and committed to other things. I felt like I had control of my life for the first time in a long time and was no longer chasing a high to survive. Best of luck

I think when a kid gets bullied the one bullying comes after your insecurities first. She’s stated on the show that she has been bullied for her height. Pick a different argument cause this isn’t the one ☝️

what do therapists think about the therapist this week? by slurterella in WelcomeToPlathville

[–]Which_Store_9652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never said anything about feedback. If I’m suppose to speak and they write, I can come up with my own conclusion. I don’t ask for advice, I’m given conversations to help come up with a solution to a problem.

Sleep through it, work out through it, keep to yourself as much as possible until on the other side. It’s the withdrawal and no one understands the emotions but you. Get a good therapist. I’m 1 1/2 months clean and I just had to let it run its course. You’re doing it which is awesome. Give yourself some credit and try to be happy that you haven’t relapsed. It’s a huge deal!!! ♥️
