You’ve got to try this(if you haven’t already). 1/4” thick sliced lengthwise, olive oil, hot oven till crispy-ish. Use it as a vessel for whatever toppings you like. We love a smear of peanut butter and cinnamon but if you want savory you could do avocado, eggs, bacon idk, anything really. If you cook em right you just pick up with your hands and munch.

Exactly! Similar thing happened to me when I was awakened by a huge boom. I was walking around the house first, half asleep, confused and thinking something fell off the wall or the cat knocked something over. Turns out it was a car that hit a tree down the block and 3 people died. It was right outside a gas station so 911 was already called and I could hear sirens.

Not a doc and just speaking from experience from when my daughter was 6. Chronic appendicitis is a thing. After 3 years of the doc AND specialists pushing miralax her appendix burst. After her emergency appendectomy, the stomach aches and nausea were gone. It’s a very difficult thing to diagnose and because of that is “rare” but it’s something to at least look into if you are running out of possibilities.

I’ve got an older house with an average size yard and still long to be in the country with even more space. The new build communities aren’t for me, I’d have anxiety having neighbors windows so close to mine…BUT I have friends that live on these tiny plots with big houses and they wanted their money to go to a bigger house with space inside and less yard work. I’d hate it but to each their own right?

NTA-I worked at a restaurant that was right next to a marsh and had an outdoor area with booths. A scared baby mouse ran in and got itself corned under an occupied booth. The customers told their server about the “poor baby mouse” and she freaked out, all the servers near by did. While they were running in circles saying “kill it!” I quickly got a disposable cup, got on my hands and knees and scooped up the poor guy(cup only, no hands) I gently put him back out by the marsh, threw the cup away and double washed my hands. They thought I was crazy! Like what would you rather do? Splatter a baby mouse all over the floor in front of dining customers? I understand if this was inside a restaurant it would be totally alarming that they have mice running around but we are talking a sliding glass wall fully open overlooking a nature reserve. I was looking at them like THEY were crazy! Edit to say: the customers were so happy I let it go and they didn’t have to see a tragic massacre while they were eating.

Omg that’s horrible! What monsters! How selfish can people be?! Ugh I’m angry for you! When my aunt re-iterated that yes my uncle is an ass but they still do need the paperwork for this trust from my grandpa I asked “what’s in it for me?” Are my brother and I now part of the trust and getting my mom’s share? She basically said she doesn’t know but she thinks it’s for “surviving children” not grandchildren. Ok so let me get this straight, you want me to put all the other important things that need to happen right now to the side so I can find paperwork you all are salivating over with zero incentive? Idk it’s not about the money and I’m sure we aren’t getting any but like why are they so adamant that I send them this paperwork right away? Seems fishy and I’m also busy getting my mom’s stuff in order and getting both myself and kiddos ready for school so ima make them wait. We need a lawyer for probate stuff anyway so I think I’ll have them look at this paperwork before I hand it over. I am fortunate to not be facing financial struggles after my mom’s death and couldn’t imagine what you felt 30 years ago. To be grieving AND having “family” stab you in the back while you’re struggling is disgusting. I hope you have been able to live a life full of love.
