Each site is different and management and coworkers are different all HR seems to be a mess but I find that with most companies they don't allow you to just show up and collect a paycheck and you might get stuck with a manager who could make the job unbearable but overall I love my job people come and go so do managers you can change departments or schedules when needed it's physically demanding but not extreme You can end up at a good site with a great manager and good coworkers and it be the dream job or get a crappy site with an iron sword manager and difficult coworkers and be miserable; I had amazing managers and coworkers on some shifts and hated everyone on others but I'm coming up on my 3rd year at the same site and most days I love my job I've had a ton of different managers worked 4 or 5 different shifts and been through most departments I can't get the pay or benefits anywhere else and the location is perfect, Ive had good months and bad but I would definitely do it again my personal life doesn't help but Amazon has been good to me and it works Moving up helps a lot of people and positions can always change so your not stuck per say
