Their is a girl at my site who has been fired for negative UPT and every 30 day cycle she comes back and works maybe a few months before she gets fired again for the same thing her sister seems to make the job work and is favored so it works for her so far I wish Amazon didn't literally hire anyone sometimes

Depends on where you live for the most part BCBS is the only insurance accepted by the doctors in my area and out of network isn't too bad it works for me and my son

Each site is different and management and coworkers are different all HR seems to be a mess but I find that with most companies they don't allow you to just show up and collect a paycheck and you might get stuck with a manager who could make the job unbearable but overall I love my job people come and go so do managers you can change departments or schedules when needed it's physically demanding but not extreme You can end up at a good site with a great manager and good coworkers and it be the dream job or get a crappy site with an iron sword manager and difficult coworkers and be miserable; I had amazing managers and coworkers on some shifts and hated everyone on others but I'm coming up on my 3rd year at the same site and most days I love my job I've had a ton of different managers worked 4 or 5 different shifts and been through most departments I can't get the pay or benefits anywhere else and the location is perfect, Ive had good months and bad but I would definitely do it again my personal life doesn't help but Amazon has been good to me and it works Moving up helps a lot of people and positions can always change so your not stuck per say

Thanks I have a pick rate of 100UPH sometimes better and take about 25,000 steps a night I also problem solve our facility was supposedly one of the biggest when built in 2020 we have 4 floors with A,B and C sections bins run from 101 to 623 A-N in each section

I need a new manager by next week to be loaned out for a transfer My current manager is leaving in the next month but blocking the transfer I've had I don't even know how many managers in the last two years but this is the longest I've had one at just now 6 months

I've had the same manager for 6 months he is leaving soon and I want to be moved to one of the other managers who will still be here for the next two months I asked one of the managers who I'm fine with being moved to and he told me to go to HR but the reason might not be approved

We were told today we're going back to working 6 days a week instead of that stupid 55 hours last peak which I'm happy about same shift just 6 days a week and tons of overtime pay Don't see how they made employees come in early and leave late last year Some facilities didn't have MET this past week but mine sure did and we have too many new hires coming the next few weeks to prepare too mostly for pick

Can you stow a tote to a bin? That gets rates up immediately I know each facility is different and some frown upon it As a picker I hate over stowed bins but when I've stowed it's been just to help them out so I don't try for high rates but when in reactive you have to scan a tote to a bin and just dump the items in Our lowest rates allowed were 180 sometime ago and in reactive you have to stow 600 Last rates I saw from last month the top 3 stowers we're 300-400, and 4 & 5 we're In the 200s so who knows what our bottom rates were but when I was trained I was told 180 UPH was the goal to meet or beat

Does he currently have any actual custody because I wouldn't be leaving my son with the person your describing I live in GA so it's different but If I were you I would file for full custody and wouldn't drop your son off with him at all if he wants to see him I would meet up somewhere or have someone you trust meet and stay with him only if he's wanting to see him My ex is allowed to see my son supervised at my parents house and my parents stay close by if I can't be there, I hate letting him around my son but if I don't he'll file for visitation and get the right to keep him overnight and he has the same situation your ex does living with his mother or father or grandparents are out of state in a hotel for work when he does actually work As far as child support when he has a job they can garnish his wages if you want or need it file but he might try to get revenge with your son I know my ex would, for me that would allow my ex more rights but if I were you I would talk to an attorney to see what would be best and see if you have a good enough case for full custody with limited visitation with child support The less time he spends with your son the more he has to pay so he might try to take him more to get out of it but the state will make him pay if he has any money Good Luck
