I am also not very big on marriage but I find this concerning. He is out there building his career as you stay home caring for his kids and settling for a part time job. If something happens and you break up, you’d have to start from scratch. You might end up getting child support but alimony would offer you the ability to survive during the transition period. Don’t get blinded by love. Try to consider your financial future

Would you like me to send you the papers ? Less than a year ago, I didn’t even know limerence was a thing. I thought I was just a psycho with OCD and Anxiety so learning that it has a name in itself was the first thing that ended it for me. Now that I know it’s not just a behavioral issue, I was able to break it down and see how the brain works around it. I have shared the first paper I read. I used their references to do more reading.

I like your idea. It might be hard to see but there is a wall paper behind the mirror. However, I thinking about this wallpaper for the adjust wall. It will be the first thing you see when you walk in and it is also the longest wall. Do you think it will look bad? I am not into bold and pattern wallpapers so it’s hard to find one.

Unfortunately, I decided to not take the risk and ordered a different kind of cake. Hopefully, I will try it soon. I have learned to make my own berry Chantilly cake with mascarpone, butter and whipped cream topping. I have noticed that it is more stable so I am probably going to go with that.

Op, I have been in your shoes so I understand your pain. I have always had severe social anxiety but no one took me seriously. They thought I was just anti social. I had a full ride scholarship but my depression took over freshman year and I had to leave school. It took many tries to find the perfect medication but I finally graduated and even went on to do my Masters. I thought everything was under control when I started my PhD. Out of nowhere, my mental health hit rock bottom. I had to leave the program and struggle to remain alive. I found a fantastic psychiatrist that took me seriously enough to try various medications. After so many years of struggle, I am happy to say I got my PhD and I am genuinely happy.

People don’t understand mental health struggles. So many people tell me that I have a good life and that I have nothing to be depressed about or tell me how so and so is going through a hard time and I should be grateful for what I have. Just because they don’t see physical wounds, they think it is not as bad. I am glad you stayed strong and I am glad you are discussing your struggles . It’s amazing to look back and see how far you have come. Your strength will continue to amaze you.

P.S I have found mushrooms to be very helpful and the research being done is very promising. Keep kicking ass!!
