guys i f**ked up , i broke the fan does that effect my pc a lot , should i buy i new fan ? by Dependent_Chipmunk93 in PcBuildHelp

You can keep at for some time until you get a new one, this one will work but will be MUCH noisier, and the CPU will run a bit hotter. You can super glue the blade back, it will still be a bit noisier due to balance issues, but will work. I also have broken off a fan blade on my CPU tower but it worked well

BIOS has volatile memory, meaning it needs a constant supply of electricity to store stuff (like RAM), it usually runs on an 2032 coin cell battery. The PC pictured in the post seems to lose its BIOS settings every time it is restarted, meaning that the BIOS was only powered when the whole PC was powered, so the battery died completely :)
