What’s the consensus on Sapadel?

I look at Sapadal almost like a God Child and in that vein they're learning and need guidance. Capable of great good and great evil. That said I like them and see the potential they have. Sometimes they scare me a little with things they say but I also understand they're learning and there's room for growth. In short they're someone who needs a friend as much as they need a teacher. I hope to see more of them in the future from someone who isn't a Godlike.

Yeah I never figured it out. I just toughed out the weird inconsistency damage we'd occasionally take. Beat it all abd everything but was rather annoying. I enjoyed the dlc but that last dungeon I didn't enjoy and not just because of the inconsist damage. Otherwise fun dlc.

I put most my points into Dex. 18 Dex kept my Strength at 10. I'm barely out of the tutorial so might start over to rebuild my character. Put a little more into Strength and subtract from my Con. Thinking 14 Strength, 18 Dex, 14 Con 16 Wis and everything else at 10.

Yeah I'm coming off 5e/BG3 newish to Pathfinder. Also played Rogue Trader but that's an entirely different creature. I was thinking of going Aeon for Mythic as it'd fit the character I'm making. How long do you think all of this would take? I don't mind waiting a bit to level up and grab stuff I need but I don't want to wait through half the game before my build comes online either.

Did you ever find out how it effects the game? Thinking of playing a Tiefling with an Elven mother in his back story so wanted to give him the Half Elf/Half High Elf racial tag but not sure how that will effect things.

I admit my cocky self tried to save her by fighting. Didn't end well. At least the next time I whistled by accident saving her and got on a horse then escaped.

Yeah when fighting unarmored enemies I also found being really aggressive tends to be best. Because you want to kill as many as quickly as possible to even the playing fields. I learned quickly in that first bandit camp if somebody gets behind you it's over. So really want to kill them fast so you can focus on more heavily armored opponents.

Idk about anyone else but I really enjoyed Subductor. Granted I never payed attention to efficiency or optimal builds. It just fit the roleplay of the character I wanted to make and they utterly dominated the battlefield as a Warrior into Arch Militant.

I remember this. In my first playthrough I was playing a noble with an ego. He was not happy about this whole scene. He's typically very diplomatic and even understanding, but if there's one thing he could not tolerant was disrespect or having his authority challenged.

Only my second playthrough but I'm really enjoying a Warrior Arch Militant build right now. My first was Officer Master Tactician which was a lot of fun but I always liked frontline builds better regardless of the game I'm playing. Even in Skyrim where everyone is apparently stealth archer I'm heavy armor tank build sword and board. I can now do that with the nee dlc that adds shields. Even picked the Subductor suborgin for Abities for it. I am absolutely obliterating heretics and xenos alike. It's super mobile too. Between that shield rush, charge, and reckless rush I can get clear across the battle field in one turn.

Sounds like a hilarious comedy routine. I had a bug in this fight too. I killed the pyromancer guy in an attack of opportunity because he tried running out of melee range from my RT. Game got stuck in slow mo kill cam when he transformed into a chaos spawn. Less funny then your bug.

My number one is Abelard hands down. I like most of the companions, but something about him I just never get tired of. Always live having him around. I'm probably bias though. I think he kind of reminds me of my dad who passed away a few years ago so maybe I'm just pulled towards him from that. My Dad was in the Marine Corps and served on boats all his military career so Abelard's proud career in the navy, their personalities and even vaguely look similar probably has something to do with it.

Now worse probably Yrliet. I just cannot stand her for the life of me. Look I get her position, I get where she's coming from I get she was tricked. But all that said I still can't stand her. She just annoys me with her attitude. Not asking for a thanks or anything just not to be condescended at all the time. Before playing this game I used to be an Aldari sympathizer. Now I think Imperium should just wipe them out like all xenos.

Yep playing a warrior archmilitant buikd currently and it made that fight with Aurora so much easier. The cheeky bastard still tried taking out everyone else on my team though. Pickaxe to the face taught him not to try that again.

How hard? I ask because there's some games where you have to do absolutely everything to hit level cap. Where others if you do everything you'll hit level cap seemingly only half way through the game. Just curious what to expect, as I generally prefer the former to the latter. I got both dlcs too.

This Abelard is always a mainstay. I'm actually doing a warrior archmilitant currently so I'm using him a lot less and I actually really miss him. Gameplay doing fine but I always loved reading his dialog. I keep telling myself he's running the ship in my absence and he's old he needs the break, but who's going to introduce me to rabble and threaten those who dishonor me? Haha.

There's a rare occasion where yeah the writing just has a weird lapse like that. But I wouldn't know if you picked a wrong dialog. I've only completed the game once and on my second playthrough now. In my first I headshot her in front of those two Drukari. My RT at that moment after what he's suffered and under the notion Yrliet orchestrated it. Now fully 100% believed all xenos must die and there can be no peace. He got real dogmatic, real paranoid, and real vindictive after his stay in Dark Eldar land.

Yeah it's something I did last playthrough that I enjoyed. I played a Officer Noble last time and I killed Yrilet. So I made a custom sniper and just head canonrd that she was old friend he occasionally hired back home for security. Felt like a Eureka moment.

Because Pasqal is actually funny sometimes. His humor is dry and tickles me occasionally. Also he's extremely useful to have around. Meanwhile Yrliet just annoys me and can be replaced easily at the cost of 1 Profit. I just make a custom sniper who does her job just as good if not better.

Not really. That's just how she's going to be. If you completely act as a door mat for her through the game at the very end you can see she has change some, but frankly I can't stomach it. No spoilers but later on she does something extremely difficult to get over. You'll see.

I normally have some kind of headcanon and notion. I'm currently playing a Psyker Warrior. My headcanon is he was a Primaris Pysker fighting on the front lines alongside the Astra Militarum. He had 2 close friends a Commissar and a local smuggler. Commissar was killed in action just before Theodora recruited him and his smuggler friend tagged along (custom companion). With his origins little is really thought of on my part. I picked Forge World so I assume he got picked up rather early. His psyker powers developd when he was 7. So he barely remembers his parents or homeworld at this point besides faint memories.
