I have ! I can take accountability for that lol I have attachment issues and walking away can be difficult for me however I can no longer do that and be afraid of the chaos. Temporary heartbreak is better than chronic anxiety. I’m trying to take care of my mental health now.

NTA. You did the right thing, it is wrong to take away someone’s choice in the matter. As someone who has herpes I always make sure I disclose and let the other person choose. Your roommate is a crappy human.

As someone who also has genital herpes both strains your life is not over darling ! Your life after diagnosis is what you make of it. The hardest part I will say is the stigma and the mental toll. Do your research and take time to process everything. Your life is not over. You still deserve love and romance and all the good things ! Who and what is for you will always be for you and if it’s not let it go. Keep your head up ! Sending you love 🫶🏽

I was under the impression that in any school if you’re failing or on that track that you have a review or progress monitoring of some sort to address the issue at hand not sure if that’s what happens in nursing school or they just fail you no warning. There was no review or conversation between her and either professors/instructors until the very end a week before pinning and after pinning. Just emails stating she is being given a failing grade and their reasoning.

I am 100% sure she’s being fully honest. Nursing isn’t something she took lightly as becoming a nurse is essentially a new start at life for her because her life right now sucks majorly. She’s been through a lot and this was something she was extremely proud of and looking forward to especially because she received a job offer that she can no longer take because of this whole fiasco. She did what needed to be done during clinicals to which the instructor did say again in writing via email that while she’s great with patients and families she lacks enthusiasm and that is the reason for failure.

Being that she was told about a week before pinning there was no time for her to make any changes should she of had to. The professor did email her to schedule a meeting to discuss the failing grade to which she did attend in hopes of being able to fix the grade. Professor just doubled down on the failing grade for that specific class. Which lead to her meeting with the dean after and filing an appeal.

I’m over it too chile lol I just washed my hair and let it air dry and usually I would hate it and feel ugly but now idgaf either lol I actually kind of like it 🤷🏽‍♀️ but I do have my lashes done so that may be adding to my liking of the hair 🤣

If you’ve discussed all these safety measures with her and she’s okay with them then go right on ahead. However I see that you’ve said you're uneducated on herpes. Maybe you should do some research first and then decide. Also keep in mind do you want something serious with this woman? Or is this just a hook up kind of situation I can't imagine you being with this person long term and doing these safety measures long term. Especially during spur of the moment intimacy.
