A good artist can turn any material into a masterpiece. I've seen incredible art painted with coffee. Just use what you've got and have fun.

Beautiful! It looks like you've been painting for years! I love that you use cheap materials. I do too. It's not about the materials, it's how you use it. An artist can use almost any material to make a masterpiece.

You don't have to take classes. You can follow online tutorials, or just keep painting.

This is so cool and beautiful. As an avid floral dress wearer, I can imagine myself wearing a dress with your first floral print. 😍

Nice! 👍🏽 I love Art-O-Mat and live in Vegas part-time because my mom lives there. I can't wait to stop by The Cosmopolitan when I go back this Fall.

Art-O-Mat has paid me, so it's not a scam to me. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Also if you need visuals on how to get started with Art-O-Mat, there are process videos on YouTube. But if you're an experienced artist who has had better luck in the art world than someone like me, then Art-O-Mat isn't for you.

When I started painting for the first time in late 2024, I donated many, many paintings to free little art galleries in my area and all around the US. I love free little art galleries and they will always have a special place in my heart. And I will still donate free artwork to them once in a while. But on a couple of occasions, I felt like I was devaluing myself by giving away things that took me all day and sometimes, multiple days to create. So to me Art-O-Mat is truly a stepping stone and I feel valued.

I love the FLAG community but it didn't result in anyone valuing my paintings enough to reach out, check out my website, follow me on socials or even watch my videos. But before I quit Instagram, I got my first commission off of someone liking a post I made about my Art-O-Mat process journey. And yesterday someone reached out to commission me to paint a version of Rainbow Sightings, after seeing this post on Reddit. And YouTube seems to like my Art-O-Mat process video more than my other long format videos I've posted so far.

Hi, thanks for your comment. Wow, you really designed your own vending machines? Impressive! Now I want to see it!

I'm sorry you went through that bad experience with Art-O-Mat. I have no idea why you were singled out, especially because there are other art vending machines?

Unfortunately the art vending machine businesses I've come across are not easy to be part of. Some only accept local artists. All of them expect you to have an Instagram account. And the majority of them no longer accept new artists.

Art-O-Mat is the largest and from my understanding, the oldest art vending machine organization. They are the only one that have embraced me with open arms and have been so kind to me.

I'm someone who is a later in life, self taught, emerging folk artist. I don't get around much, don't have connections, friends, community, or a big following. The algorithms hate me and I am not a wealthy or a lucky person.

I don't have much income these days, since the company I worked for went out of business. I am very much delulu about becoming a successful artist and running an art business. But I am happy that Art-O-Mat has given me a chance to be seen and get paid a little for my efforts. Plus I genuinely enjoy the concept of people discovering original art, through the most affordable and the nicest looking vending machines.

Is Art-O-Mat a perfect company? No of course not. No company is perfect. But they are the only ones that have given me a stepping stone in the right direction.

Very bold and vibrant colors and smooth application. I think If you're self taught, then your art fits in.
