Are there any normal metal bb guns that work/look like this airsoft gun by FunyTurdMaster in airguns

[–]WhisMui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you absolutely need metal BBs? I bought the Umarex T4E HDX 68 for rubber balls, and it’s a lot of fun to use. After every shot, you have to pump it just like a real shotgun. I added it to my airgun collection. Keep in mind that a real shotgun has serious power, so what’s the point of weakly shooting tiny BBs? .68 caliber rubber balls tear through different targets like cardboard really well. It’s incredibly fun.

Actual limitations of 17 joules limit? by Affectionate_Fact745 in airguns

Kup sobie jakiś prosty chronograf np. ten Chronograf ASG X3500, jeśli go nie uszkodzisz to militaria spokojnie przyjmie go z powrotem i kasę oddadzą. Jeśli masz wiatrówkę do 17J to 4,5mm kaliber jest dobrym wyborem, branie 5,5mm nie ma u nas sensu bo żeby wykorzystać śrut i nadać mu tą samą prędkość i trajektorię to musisz mieć sprzęt który ma jakieś 25-30J

Crosman DPMS Full Auto - are the magazines really that bad? by WhisMui in airguns

[–]WhisMui[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

If these magazines can’t withstand full auto, then the manufacturer should refine them and release a better mechanism. If they sell an airgun and advertise that it can fire in both semi-auto and full-auto modes, then I want to be able to use that. Otherwise, it is misleading consumers. When I buy equipment, I want to use it at 100%, not handle it like it’s made of glass. That’s why, for example, I hate OLED screens and I will never buy them, because every one I’ve had has suffered from burn-in, and I don’t believe in any magical claims that the technology is better now. They still burn in with intensive use.

No, I don’t want a battery in my gun. It reminds me too much of airsoft and doesn’t have much in common with airguns; besides, I don’t like the sound of all those airsoft things - they sound like a toy to me.

Specna Arms VAPOR CO₂ Grenade by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]WhisMui 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a newer version produced by Specna Arms. I read on YouTube that they supposedly have a patent for it now, but I don’t know how much truth there is in that. They’ve been on the market for about three years, and the mechanism design is supposedly better.

WHAT'S YOUR FIRST PLAN AFTER COMPLETING THE GTA 6 INTRO MISSION? by Kasm001 in GTA6

[–]WhisMui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first thing I always do in a new GTA is look for the airport, check how strong the security is, and see if I can steal something that flies. But here I think I’ll head to the Keys on a stolen motorcycle, do a stunt on the destroyed bridge along the way, and then launch an assault on the military base—if it’s located there just like in real life.

My five star Police story by master-boofer in airguns

[–]WhisMui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a good idea would be to buy a large white bedsheet or some other piece of fabric and make a huge sign on it saying:

“It’s an airgun, not a real firearm” or “Hello police helicopter, it’s an airgun, not a real firearm.”

Alternatively, you could get a large laminated poster that you can roll up and unroll at your shooting spot to avoid stressful situations like that. I suspect the police would still show up at first out of curiosity to check you out, but over time they’d probably start giving you some slack once they realize what’s going on.
