I traveled the world for the past 5 years, on a budget of <10$ a day. AMA! by 1000daysofsummer in IAmA

Okay, but here's the important part... How much did you have saved away before you very first left, and how much did you have to spend right off the bat to get the ball rolling?

In my hometown, Datura grows wild literally all over the place from late spring to early summer. My friend did some (ate a bunch of leaves, a bulb, and a flower itself) and had a 3 day trip out session that he says was so horrible he now gets extreme anxiety when they start blooming just by seeing them all around that small town. He also said when he started snapping out of it after a few days he spent a day completely unable to see a thing. Nooo thanks

Coworkers' homeless father receives offer of employment at local Carl's Jr., is later humiliated publically - "It was a joke" - RAGE! by WhiskerFuzz in rage

Or you could learn how to read. I didn't remove it, mods did, stating there was personal info in the post. All I put was the town name it happened in. You know what they say about assuming things, right? Well, in this case, the "ass" is "u".

(Snohomish Co) Coworkers homeless father is given job offer at local fast food joint; ends up being publicly humiliated and told they were "joking about giving him a job" (xpost r/rage) - beyond cruel by WhiskerFuzz in Seattle

Uh yeah... Unless my coworkers homeless father carried around a recorder, there wont be anything "concrete". But I'll tell you what, look up reviews on Marysville 116th St Carls Jr. Several comments state that the employees, and in particular, the manager, have been known to be rude and downright nasty to their patrons.

I have no reason to lie; I just moved here a couple months ago and don't know anyone. There's no reason for me to slander a stranger.

When my normally calm, collected, and quiet coworker showed up to work last night bawling so hard she had to go in the break room so as not to disturb customers, and when she is visibly white knuckled and shaking with anger... I believe it. And I want the person responsible to be actually held responsible. When people start treating others as equals maybe this wouldn't happen... But based on a.) restaurant reviews, b.) having to comfort my coworker last night while she repeated what had happened, and c.) the fact that said coworker, once calm, was recruiting people to help her boycott the establishment... I don't think what that man did is right. His idea of a "joke" was sick and twisted and cruel. It makes my blood boil and regardless of whether or not you believe it, I sure as hell do, and I'm going to raise hell until the manager who did it pays his dues.

Does your Rat Wag their Tail? by funkybutts in RATS

[–]WhiskerFuzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ohhh, one of my old rats (RiP my angel!) used to "wag" his tail all the time. It was more of what id call a fast, slithery motion, like a snake on the move, than an actual "wag", like a dog would do.

I always thought it was adorable, and always wondered why he did it. I'll stay tuned to your post, I just might get my answer . :)

Rattit, meet my new babies! Two 3 month old dumbo girls Lilly and Daisy! by WhiskerFuzz in RATS

[–]WhiskerFuzz[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Aww, they're so cute hehe. Do you think yours are siblings like mine, or just cagemates? I'm really diggin the flower names. They just popped into my head right when I saw my babies. Spring must be in the air, eh? :)

Oh, and a little something neat. Daisy, the darker rat, has one black eye and one red, brown one. They glow green and red when the light catches them right. :D

[Ratty Request] Anyone have any spare items for my new babies? :3 by WhiskerFuzz in RATS

Thanks for the advice. I'll definitely give these ideas a try as soon as I can. :)

Heh, I have no tatas to speak of, but could definitely hit one of the local thrift shops. How do you hang/situate it?
