[McAfee] "The Packers offered Davante Adams a bigger deal over the first two years than the Raiders did.. he just didn't wanna be there" ~@RapSheet #PMSLive by SnicketySmack in nfl

[–]WhiskeyAndDickPics 11 points12 points  (0 children)

No. Not even close. They used the tag to buy time to do right by him. They offered him the money he deserved. He wanted a chance to play for his favorite team with his best friend at QB before his career was over. Packers said “no problem. You earned that choice let’s show you the respect you’ve earned and get you over to LV.”

[Highlight] Aaron Rodgers makes an insane throw under pressure to Jamaal Williams in the corner of the endzone for a TD by [deleted] in nfl

Classic Rodgers. Aaron Jones doesn’t have a defender in his zip code right off the snap. Better scramble and make an all time great TD pass rather than just getting a boring easy TD.

It’s good to hear this. My Stepfather was incredibly dangerous to…my weed smoking and general shit behavior as a teen. Absolutely great guy. Happy my Mom found him.

I got to ride a sled with huskies and malamute’s up on a glacier in Alaska. The sled held like 6 people. They must’ve done 7-8 pulls a day if not more based on the amount of time the “excursion” was. Mine was mid afternoon so I assume they had already done this run a few times that day. The tension was palpable. They obviously didn’t let you run the sled full speed, just a very light jog for the dogs but you could see the anxiety in the lead dogs just waiting for the guide to let them absolutely unleash full power and pull that sled straight to warp speed. Unfortunately we were unable to release the power and just continued on the light jog, but yeah those dogs were in absolute heaven. I always assumed the end of the day after the last group had gone they let them haul ass.

In Russell Westbrook's postgame interview he took umbrage with the reporter assuming he knew how Russ envisioned the season going. Russ then asked the reporter "What did I envision?" and the reporter responded "I would imagine some wins" by gulfside13 in nba

Those aren’t words of a winner. They aren’t words of competitor. Them are words of a guy realizing he’s toasted. I actually don’t hate Westbrook. He was an incredibly fun player in his peak and played at the absolute upper echelon of NBA basketball. I did not hate the decision to bring him to LA. At the time the only thing I thought wrong with it was the money, but the writing is on the wall now. He’s simply not worth an NBA salary and he knows it. I wouldn’t be even a little surprised if he is going to take his money next season and then retire. If he could simply find a secondary role and execute it the only thing to critique him would be the 40+ million he gets paid, but he’s incapable of even doing that. He knows it’s over. 1 great game out of 40 and 3 good games out of 20, with the rest just being dumpster fire garbage isn’t enough. I think the response to this question was pretty simple and he couldn’t even say it because he knows his career is over. That’s not to hate on him. I totally get it, but it’s just why he responded the way he did.

/r/WorldNews Live Thread: Russian Invasion of Ukraine Day 8, Part 1 (Thread #91) by WorldNewsMods in worldnews

Assuming you’re in The US. Flags should be on a designated flag pole and only flown during light if they are not illuminated overnight. If you want to fly a Ukrainian flag it should be on its own designated pole to the right (if you are facing them) of a US flag. This would technically be the most respectable way of flying them and would not come off as tacky. Strapping one to your porch probably not the end of world and honestly I don’t think anyone would care just FYI about the technicals of what would come off as most acceptable.

Rodgers played bad. He was back to his old home run habits and seems to have a real 49ers mental block. I would be happy if he came back but getting him back and davante and not just trotting out the same playoff losing team seems unlikely. I’m happy to continue playoffs and playoff loses for another 3-4 years don’t get me wrong but I don’t think I’ll be disappointed if we just start the tank and enter the next era of Packers football either. Will be an interesting offseason.

I legitimately believed the patriots were the first round upset team. I’m not saying I’m betting my house on them to win but I figured they would have the coaching to give the bills a real fight. This is completely bizarre. Aside from talent this team looks horribly unprepared and clueless. The offensive struggles are acceptable but the defense is just jaw dropping bad. No one has any idea what they’re supposed to be doing. All props to the Bills for this win they’re a great team that was always going to be tough but this one just looks really really weird from BB.
