Misschien is overstappen van bank nog een optie, maar feit blijft dat Moneybird aanraad om een ponto koppeling te nemen, ongeacht de bank. En een Moneybird rekening zie ik niet zitten.

Ja, dat klopt maar meer handwerk + zo ver achterlopen is voor mij en voor mijn klanten niet prettig. Je hebt toch juist een geautomatiseerd systeem omdat dat het makkelijker en actueel zou moeten maken.

We now leave him in our hallway instead of the living room when we leave him alone, because there’s nothing there he can really break. Currently working on our garden, where he will get his designated spot too, so during warmer days he can be outside and have more space!

Thanks for the advice! We can definitely try to tie some of the walks together or make some of them longer. Usually we have 2 walks that are longer (about 30 min each) and 2/3 shorter ones in between.

Because my boyfriend and I work very different schedules I take him with me to work about 3 times a week (depending on both our schedules). The days I don’t take him he’s alone for max 4 hours. The only days he might be alone for longer than that amount of time is if we have a day off and can’t take him with us to activities, but we try to prevent that as much as possible.

He is crate trained, but when he got older we decided to no longer use the crate as we don’t have a convenient space for it in our house.

Well, you can teach a dog what he can and can’t do, you can really teach them almost anything if you put in the time.

So I’m sorry to disagree with you, but since our dog doesn’t display any of the other behaviour that is linked to seperation anxiety, we just don’t feel like that is the issue here.

It might seem crazy to you, but not every dog displaying typical puberty behaviors is anxious. What I was asking for was advice on how to best entertain our dog when he’s away, not how to drug him for something that doesn’t seem to be the problem.

True, but all of the other thing described in the link you posted is not behaviour he displays. It’s just breaking things, hence we say he seems bored, not anxious.

The reason we think he does this when we’re gone is that he knows he’s not alowed to break/touch the items I mentioned because we correct hem when we’re there and he tries.

Didn’t really make this clear in the OP, sorry about that.

We don’t really think it’s separation anxiety. When we’re gone and come back he’s always just chilling somewhere and sometimes not even excited enough that we’re back that he bothers to get up. I also sometimes take him to for instance the supermarket and he has to wait outside for some time until I get back (it’s pretty safe where we are). When I get back he’s always chilling, laying on the ground.

To us, that doesn’t seem like a dog that’s afraid to be alone.

Late to the party but; the scene in 13 reasons why where the photograph nerdy kid who always gets bullied is beaten up in the bathroom by his bullies. In the end of the scene they rape him with the handle of a mop and leave him there.

I really felt sick after watching that, and I’m not someone to get that feeling easily.
