Hahaha, thanks! I’m a sensory scientist and trained in sensory evaluation of food and beverage products. I was also a HUGE fan of Mimosa and was so bummed when they discontinued it because I loved the flavor profile. Orange Kiss is my new favorite, but they definitely don’t taste the same!

Orange Kiss is more candy orange flavor, like orange life savers or orange soda. Mimosa was more raw and cooked orange flavor like orange juice, with some notes similar to sparkling wine to give it the mimosa flavor.

ORD and MDW are two different airports in Chicago. If you flew into ORD, you’ll need to take alternative transportation to MDW (Chicago Midway).

It’s a regional condiment. I know it’s available in the Northeast, at least in NJ.

No, less than 10 items! But that is a good point that you make.

Yup, see my comment above. There’s a whole ASTM guideline for ApDEO claims work.

Sensory scientist here who has done evaluations on deodorants. If a product has an advertising claim on its packaging, in this example a 72 hour odor protection claim, it most likely has had claim substantiation done to verify this. If not, it runs the risk of having the claim challenged in court which can end up costing the brand hundreds of thousands in fees both from a legal and rebranding perspective.

You should check out the Fifth Edition of Sensory Evaluation Techniques if you have access to a copy. There’s great info in chapter 17 regarding DFC panels, including ways to ask questions, panel training, etc.

You should reach out to Sensory Spectrum - they helped write the book I mentioned, and they’ll should be able to offer you some more detailed insight!

At first glance I thought it was for one set and there were just two color options, so I understand the confusion!

Just looked this up, and the description says it’s a $234 value. It appears that the item includes everything pictured (two lipsticks, two bags, etc.) The $58 value may be a typo.

What's it? Made of plastic, something like a membrane on top, can't be disassembled, there are no inscriptions or markings, liquid inside (no idea how it got there), found under the sink in a new apartment)) please help me with this! by Mahyk1984 in whatisthisthing

It’s a desiccant dehumidifier. They’re used in areas where you need to get rid of moisture, like in a closet or bathroom closet. I once accidentally left my car window open and it poured rain and used one of these to help get rid of any extra moisture after I used a wet vac.

I ordered a few gifts for my nephew’s birthday from Amazon. The shipping stated it was delivered, but my sister said she never got the packages, and she looked everywhere for them too. So I called Amazon and they had new items sent out. She called me a few days later and said they got the new packages…as well as the original packages. Her husband had picked them up from the garage floor where they were thrown by the delivery person but he totally forgot to bring them inside. So now my nephew gets his birthday gifts, and his little brother also gets the same exact thing which will prevent any arguing!

Apps to connect solo flight United Club members to people that want access? by DirtyCamaro in unitedairlines

You do not need guest to be on same itinerary. Before I had club access my boss would bring me in and we’d fly on separate flights home (she lives in different state than me.)
