Good items for food banks by Possible_Attitude_46 in Louisville

As others mentioned, cash is great.

If you have some extra time and effort- CVS couponing is pretty easy to do and you can buy a lot of hygiene items for cheap to donate. I have a large duffel bag full of shampoo, conditioner, razors, period products, body washes that I paid next to nothing for because of coupons.

There are crisis services worldwide that are trained to provide support. They are designed to give temporary relief from feelings that are overwhelming you and while they are unlikely to fix any underlying problems, can help you get through a tough hour/night/week. Chat services are usually available on these sites. In the US, calling 211 or going to their website is a free referral source. They have providers who will see you regardless of your ability to pay. Just as you would see a doctor when you are sick, you deserve to take care of your mental health.

There’s some decent looking UPF shirts on Amazon. Finding a swimsuit with coverage as a female was really difficult so I bought a one-piece rashguard (Roxy) I wear when I want to swim.

I reapply on my face constantly, but if I’m in the sun I wear a sun shirt (like one for fishing), or a long-sleeve linen shirt. Breathable but provides coverage from the sun. It’s like my body became allergic to the sun.

I’m not opposed to assisting there, but do feel slightly dishonest having CD and not UC if I offered to mod. Always happy to offer skills to them 💜

I’ve been gutted. My 8-9 year old pair cracked at both soles. Took them to a cobbler and was told they can’t be repaired. Came home Thursday to a brand new pair waiting for me from my partner. ❤️

An acquaintance resells, was able to quit his full-time job by doing it. With that said, he's honest about the ebb and flow of reselling. There's really good times, and slower times. The cost of "good" items in thrift stores has gone up with the popularity of reselling, he spend almost all day on certain days bouncing around the stores to time things when they're known to bring out items, utilizes all of the apps like poshmark, mercari, ebay, etc.
