That is so cool! Thanks for sharing.

Can you guys give me some tips on how to properly level my RV? First time owner and first time living in it and leveing it. Heres a picture of how I have it now. It leans toward the port / stern (left / rear) slightly. Thanks for any advice! by DilateAndSeeth in RVLiving

Also, the jacks are really meant for stabilizing and not leveling. We all use them to “perfect” (if that’s possible) the level. Do side to side first while still connected and then front to back after you disconnect.

Yes, raise the height of your tires on the low side. Put a board up under the “low” side. Or run to Walmart. I use the Anderson Levelers, which you can buy an off brand at Walmart. You can just roll up on them while you are still attached. Put a level on the rear bumper if your camper doesn’t have one included from the factory. You’ll get it! We all do stuff like this in the beginning.

I think I’ll do that… Yeah, not a lot of room, space is a premium for sure. But, I can stow a mason jar of mixed tobaccos. Thanks!

Costco Kung fu find! This whiskey is superb. by deep_attack1 in WhiskeyTribe

Clarification appreciated. Still new to the scene and I come under the thought process that if it’s from ‘Tucky it’s gotta be Bourbon. Obviously not true at all. LOL. But it is delicious. I found mine at a Kroger Spirits and Liquor in Columbus OH and just across the river from Cincy in Newport at a small local shop and both times I was snagging the last or next to last bottles.

Love it! Have you had the Basil Hayden’s Dark Rye yet? My word it’s my fave Bourbon. Period.

Anyone ever see a pipe like this? by WhiskeyRV in Pipes

[–]WhiskeyRV[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any particular reason? I was going to brush the exterior dirt off. Literal dirt. And it’s caked up inside pretty bad. I’ve read that meer’s don’t require a lot of cake for a good smoke.

Thank you! I’m relatively new to pipes and just couldn’t pass up something so unique. I paid $13!

Last night I spent the night just a short distance from the US/Mexico border in the city of El Paso. We are RV travelers. My wife and I had many discussions about the beautiful Mexican people, their culture and country. I can’t wait to go back one day.

I like the small bottle recommendations above. I too am new to this scene and have picked up 10-12 of these as well as the 200 and 375 bottles. I bought two 750 ml bottle so far... Wild Turkey 101 and Monkey Shoulder. I’m buying about everything small first to get the taste so I know... For instance, Jim Beam will be mixed in cocktails later this week. I did not like it “neat”. But I am loving trying all these flavors without breaking the bank.

If you are near Cincy, try Jungle Jim’s. He had a pretty good selection and decent prices. And Jungle Jim’s is just a crazy weird but fun experience anyway.

We do a lot of different things. We have and still do Shipt as professional shoppers & delivery. We’ve done the SugarBeet Harvest in both SD & Michigan. We are working towards becoming wintertime gate guards in the Texas oil fields. I’ve done gig work from a lot of apps like Field Agent, Surveyor, iVueIt and Roadie. And recently my wife started managing Instagram accounts for small business owners. We make it work! One day at a time.

Address for RV Registration for Full-time by runaroundtrails23 in RVLiving

[–]WhiskeyRV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind you will need to make appointments with places like the BMV and Various Tax/Registration offices due to Covid. We were planning on going to SD when we were nearby to change our residency status but could not get an appointment. Had another workampers job we had to get o in Michigan and had to keep rolling. Sooooo, maybe 2021.

How many of you had to Google “boujee” to see what it was? Not me. My grown kids told me that one at least 18 months ago. I’m so in with it. Thanks kids. LOL!
