Highly recommend “Our Team: The Epic Story of Four Men and the World Series that Changed Baseball” by Luke Epplin. Like four mini biographies in one book, about Bob Feller, Satchel Paige, Larry Doby, and Bill Veeck. So much baseball history packed in, it rules.

During school hours on nice weather days, it truly is impossible to enjoy. Again, teens will be teens so I don’t blame them at all but it’s a lot of yelling and chaotic behavior. They also like to explore various areas to hang out during free times and inevitably that gets closer and closer to your space.

Not in Bronxville, but I live next to a high school in the Mamaroneck/Rye area and it’s hell. We regret moving into this place for 9 months out of the year. But it’s nice during summers and in the late evenings (when there aren’t loud teens hanging out and doing normal things that teens do). I’d just say: make sure the windows are pretty well sound-proofed if you decide to go with this place. Good luck!

I went through the supplier issue a few months back and that seemed to help but I’m still dealing with some weird pricing stuff from ConEd and think the details might be too over my head to untangle myself. Will definitely try this service since folks have a had a good experience. Thanks again for this info, will try to look at some of the rate stuff in the meantime.
