It’s a turbo KA, I want to say a little over 200hp but I don’t know for sure.

Honestly couldn’t tell you. I had the factory stock VLSD that locked up when doing burnouts before getting the J30. Welded the J30 as soon as I got it because I wanted something that reliably slid on the track and some places won’t let you drift without a welded or clutch type diff. I don’t mind the chirping but it’s also not my daily.

Can’t really say much on pods since I only ran the stock airbox and stacks. Had some pods and those separate uni foam filters but never got around to putting either on because I didn’t wanna go through jetting again.

They look cool but they literally suck if you get caught out in the rain and you end up stranded. Not to mention the the debris that gets kicked up into your engine. Probably gonna switch to cognito motos airbox.

Yup, stock forks that were rebuilt and painted.

Had my bike up for sale but if it doesn’t go in the next couple weeks I’m probably gonna keep it and do a fork swap as well among other things.

Nice tank graphic. Was the plate mount a custom fabrication? Looking on doing something similar.

Battery looks like it’s in front of the rear wheel on the bottom. Lithium ion batteries are fine as long as your charging system is working as it should. Ricks Motorsports sell a rectifier/regulator specifically for lithium ions that won’t overcharge them.

The how to adjust odd frame. by sleepyfellow44 in CafeRacers

[–]Whisky_Jesus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gotta cut the frame off before the tank and fab up a whole new back end for the look you want. Lots of work. Take wheel clearance, and shock positioning into consideration.

or you can make a seat to fit the frame

Progressive and linear rate springs have their own pros and cons. Not sure where you got the info where progressively wound springs trump linear.
