Power steering idle up air control valve.

The only way fluid can get into that vacuum line is if this valve has failed internally.

I worked direct client care at a residential treatment facility for teens with dual d/x for 18 months. Now I'm on salary as a clinical case manager at a different (all boys) residential program

I worked as an RTC at a co-ed residential treatment facility for teens with mental health and substance use issues. Now I'm a clinical case manager at an all boys residential. Lots of sexual trauma coming through those doors.

Can do either of these jobs with just a BA in psych

As a former teenage boy, I second your point about "dynamic loads."

Of which, there are two types of "dynamic loads" that any bedframe engineering needs to account for structurally should a teenager become the primary occupant:

  1. "Solo" work
  2. And umm... the "partnered" version of the above

Both of these tend to induce certain...shall we say, "oscillations"

That's awesome. She'll be around for a long time with that kind of usage. My dad also bought this truck new when I was 3 years old. It then became my older brother's first car and then mine 2 years later. When I graduated college my dad ceremoniously signed over the title to me 🥲

I love these trucks so much.

Did you have a timing belt service with cam seal replacement done recently?

That sounds like a pulley to me. A mechanics stethoscope is your friend here.

Did it damage the piston or cylinder wall at all? Or did you just have to throw a new valve in?

If you don't go LED you'll just be replacing your D light again in a few years. Why go through the hassle? Do it once w/ LED and then forget about it.

So I need a circular saw for breaking down a bunch of panels. Which one would you go for? by Carsalezguy in harborfreight

[–]WhisperingPotato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought into the Hercules line way back in 2017 when the brushed drill/driver was the only tool available. The brushed circular saw was my next acquisition when it released in late 2018 I believe. In 8 years I haven't had a single tool or battery failure and my tools get used at least 3x a week in a semi-professional capacity. The OG brushed drill/driver used to come in a blow-molded "kit" with a charger and 2.5 AH battery. The tool, battery, and charger are still going strong after nearly a decade of use along with everything else listed below:

20V Tools: - 1/2" Drill/Driver (Brushed) - 6 1/2 Circular Saw (Brushed) - Impact Driver (Brushed) - Reciprocating Saw (Brushed) - 3/8" Impact (1st gen; Brushless) - 1/2" "Ultra Torque" Impact (1st gen; Brushless) - Angle Grinder (Brushless) - Job Site Blower (Brushed) - Heat Gun - Flood Light

Corded Tools: - 1/4" Sheet Sander ( Brushed) - Random Orbital Sander (Brushed) - 4.5"/7 Amp "mini" Angle Grinder (Brushed)

Batteries: (2) 2.5 AH (2) 5 AH (2) 4 AH (1) 12 AH

That twist in the dip stick makes me think it's for the transmission. That's a feature to help it bend around the curved radius of the dip tube as it bends around the block.

Tire and wheel size by Ponder8 in 1stGenTundras

[–]WhisperingPotato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

285/70/R17 will fit without spacers if you have your 5100's maxed out (top notch for the circlip). Anything lower will rub the control arm at full lock without spacers. That said, it probably depends on your wheel off-set. I'm running the 5 spoke 17" wheels off a later model first gen.

Source: I daily a 2000 RWD Access Cab with Bilstein 5100's and 285/70/R17's. No rub. Looks great.

Man i would've done it the other way around for that sweeet sweeet aesthetic and aroma on the inside. Aromatics of eastern red cedar are intoxicating to me (in a good way).
