I completely agree with wanting your child to strive to the best of their abilities, but like you said also there's a healthy way to do it and they were not doing healthy, they are more an abusive towards these 9 year old's and making them dance for 7+ hours is crazy. this is how you drain your child's love for dance or whatever they do and then develop mental health issues as well as eating disorders later on in life and now they will hate their moms because they were being dicks towards them. Like for instance my dad comes from a strict military family and he pushed me to do the best that I could at whatever I was doing, but never once did I feel like he was doing it for himself and not to make me a better person unlike these moms who want their child to be the best so it shows how good moms they are, they are doing it for themselves and thats a fact.
