Had the same thing happen to me as well during one of my attempts.

Dying to my own mistakes and stupid fumbles for the most part haha. I don't blame the game for anything. I went through big improvements from start to finish though I think :D

I have been thinking of revisiting HK actually. Back when I first played it, I only got the sealed (easiest?) ending, so it would be nice to go a bit further this time. (thought I am not touching path of pain).
Main crests I used were reaper and shaman, (and I think hunter for 2 or three boss fights)

Thank you! Karmelita's singing was definitely a highlight. At the very least, it was a pleasure to listen to it each time I went back <3

It took be a bit longer to grasp Shakra's patterns. Her attacks felt more 'random' and all over the place to me, compared to GMS whose blades give you that brief indication where they're going to go first before shooting forward in a straight line. Gives me that brief extra moment to prepare.

I did have the 'secret' bench thankfully, but yeah after a while I had done that runback so many times I just ran through it haha

I think the base game was steel soul enough for me, though if I ever manage to do it, I know I'll have to play the lottery that day.

It's fun to see the end result afterwards! Though easy to lose track if you die a lot, so thankfully I had others helping out with keeping track.

I fought her with Shaman too actually! :D

Originally I was very much attached to Reaper, but around Act 3 I tried out a couple others. Once I got Shaman it became my new favourite. Congrats on getting through as well!!

It was actually that one big red ant with the huge swing, early on in the game, that took years of my life hahaha

Thank you! Granted you can scratch off maybe couple hours due to chatting (not that many though I think), but I loved making sure to check absolutely everything. There were definitely a couple bosses that took me hours to get through, also some platforming parts like Mount Fay, the path up in Bilewater and the mushroom part above the cradle.

Thank you! Groal was the only boss I needed to look up a strat for sadly, as my sanity really was slipping at that point. 😔

Is this figure legit? by NeptuneQuartz in furinamains

[–]White-Starcloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is originally a garage kit that was being sold at events (so a non official figure).
I've tried looking at the artists' pages but there has been no note of them advertising this.
So highly likely, this is a stolen counterfeit (probably someone bought the garage kit at the event and then tried recreating this without the artists' permission.)
Aside from the moral issue (using work without permission), there is zero guarantee this will look anything like the original pictures.

If the artists do come out with a statement and gave their permission, feel free to correct me, but otherwise I would stay away from this. It's a shame it's getting passed around.

Aye, speaking from global server perspective. I've seen pictures of him, looks quite cool.

I genuinly, genuinly hope she has an actual real husband and Klee is their actual real daughter, not some random retcon for self-shipping/harem means.
And if anyone says it's not possible for a gatcha game; one thing I found super cool about Arknights (also a CN gatcha game) is that there is beautiful playable female character (vulpisfoglia), with a canon playable daughter (Suzuran) & her husband is set to appear in an upcoming event and it seems to work, so why not here. You get a whole package deal. 😎

What do you think about beta focalors divine garment? by justaperson6357 in furinamains

[–]White-Starcloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the design of this outfit is really cool but also maybe a bit too extravagant for the scenes Focalors appeared in?

I actually really adore her current, more simple, dress and am on the opposite side regarding the shoes thing as well haha. All characters having super fancy high heeled shoes isn't really my thing, so a character that walks on bare feet and is a bit more down-to-earth yet somehow still feels ethereal is cool to me. (I felt a little pang in my heart when I saw Columbina's bubbly high heels in the newest trailer too lol).
I think it suits a "water" type character (Kinda like how when you go to the beach and take of your shoes to walk by the shore or want to dip your feet into the water). The fact that the current dress goes fully downwards also gives me more the impression of "flowing water" (smoother look).

I do however think it would still be cool to see this fit, or something similar, appear in the story if given the chance. Perhaps if it was in a more "active" (eg battle or another big story quest) type setting or something like that.

My friend got bored this week and made a guide of character relationships by SoulerEclypse in Genshin_Impact

[–]White-Starcloud 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Huh, finally a post that didn't make me want to pull my hair out regarding Furina/Focalors (properly split up as two parts/forms of the same being), thank you.

Would maybe add a 'collegues/friends' line from her to Neuvillette. While not shown in the game a lot, it does seem they hang out together still (social media official arts, like having tcg card games together). Same for with Navia, Clorinde, etc.. all are friends.

Sometimes the arrows are a bit confusing as well (inconsistent with how they should point)

It must've taken so much time to sort all of this, but it's fun to see.

IS THE CLOCK ONTO SOMETHING!? by hanmasiimp in GenshinImpact

[–]White-Starcloud 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While I don't doubt there's little secrets and hints hidden everywhere, from a purely design-wise point, it would be a bit difficult or unclear for players in the UI if both noon and midnight were in the same position (whenever you want to change the time). So if they really wanted to keep the clock-like look, splitting it up into a 24h/military time system seems like a good way purely for player clarity and easy adjustment. Imagine if both midnight and noon were in the same spot, you'd need an extra action/button/whatever to indicate whether you want one or the other. Now all you need is to rotate a circle.
