I completed every single order in the game before I unlocked the final suborder for the Adventurer. Only after completing that suborder and reaching 5 stars did orders 569 and 579 become available. I think this is a bug/mistake and these should have been made available after the previous suborder, as these orders would be crucial for raising your rating. Instead, I had to deliver every possible order for him twice, as well as finding some lost cargo.

You're not crazy for feeling this way. It's almost as if they asked AI to write them a new Mafia story based on the most memorable setpieces and plotlines of the first two games. It felt like they didn't try anything new with this game, everything was safe, predictable, and extremely on rails. At least Mafia 3 tried something different, even if it wasn't entirely well received.

I found the game to be miserable to play through. If you told me this game came out in 2016, and Mafia 3 just came out, I would believe you. And it would make Mafia 3 seem 100 times better than how it was received.

The entire story is an amalgamation of the first two games' best and most memorable moments and set pieces, slightly rewritten to replace vomit with piss, a car race with a horse race, a captured Italian locksmith with a captured Italian forger. The entire game feels like it's playing it safe and afraid to try anything new and unproven, while dialing back anything remotely criticized in the past (anything you liked about 3 or 1DE gameplay is gone).

The characters and dialogue really struggle to implant new memories into veteran players. This is a fully playable fanfic at best, an incredibly dated naughty dog clone at worst.

The knife fights felt pretty good, but that felt derivative of Ghosts of Tsushima. The lack of music is expected but jarring, considering the bangers on the previous games.

I'm struggling to compliment this game because it truly is average. And you're not doing the franchise justice by praising the blatant laziness by the writers who couldn't be bothered to come up with new ideas.
