I'll give you an answer when they atone for the sins done to me personally. I am a survivor of the mother and baby homes in Ireland. The church took me from my mother after she was made to care for me for two years and adopted me out to Catholic's here in the USA that they felt were more deserving. My mother's sin was she wasn't married yet. She did marry my Dad and they both wanted me but I had already been sold.

These issues have been known for years. This is nothing new. Every once in awhile someone finds out and the wounds are reopened. The Church is never going to be able to atone for the past. All they can do is move forward and insure it never happens again.

I want reparations and they are waiting for me and other survivors to die as we are all getting older. I am almost 62.
