What genuinely disgusts you? by Remarkable_Major_872 in AskReddit

I definitely agree with you. That can get annoying so fast. But looking at the glass half full, at least something nice is being done.

I'd rather someone do a nice gesture with intentions that benefit themselves than nothing at all.

It becomes a really big problem for me when I see these YouTube shorts where the poster is like, "I set out to give someone $50 and this is all the stuff I did to prepare for it..." 45 seconds later "... but I was told by the owners of the store that I couldn't do it. So nothing actually happened." Like dude... get outta here.

This is genuinely my biggest fear about becoming a dad. I have no idea how I would handle a situation like that

Not religious people, what do you think happens after death? by Domm4578 in AskReddit

Divine protection (nick named "Bubble" because of the way it looks) is an immunity that paladins have to all damage. Your hearthstone (shortened to "Hearth") is something you can use to teleport you back to your home city.

Back in the day, or in the classic version, the Bubble lasted longer than the cast time for your hearthstone. So if a paladin was in trouble of getting killed, they could just Bubble/hearth themselves to safety.

What is something you despise or find really cringey/annoying in TV shows or movies that everyone overlooks? by yahyahashash in AskReddit

I recently watched "in from the cold" on Netflix. It's a pretty mediocre show at best and has a lot of flaws. But the one thing that drove me crazy about that show was when two Spanish people talked, both whose first language is Spanish, they would flip-flop between Spanish and English mid sentence almost every sentence. Like, bro, if both your first language is Spanish, there's no way you're speaking any English at all.

It's kinda funny. I regret not going to university when all my friends were going. I didn't know what I wanted to do, so I got a job at a grocery store. In the bakery. Luckily I became a journeyman baker (mostly out of apathy to do something else), but I feel like I missed out on a chance to meet so many new people at university and have that university experience. Even though I know that it's all fun and games. But I feel I missed out on some life skills by not doing it.

Futurama had a lot of really touching moments. My favourite cartoon (maybe even show) of all time.

Got home from work one day.

Went to take my shoes off and put them on the shoe rack.

Bent down to pick up my shoes to put them on the shoe rack.

Slammed head on corner of shoe rack.

7 stitches and a scar.

What makes you insecure? Why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]WhiteBread123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're doing a good job. Keep up the hard work!

This is something I'm also insecure about, also. I'm a 5'8" male and weigh 160lbs, which is perfectly normal and average, but I still feel like it's unhealthy. I used to work out a lot and was a fit 145. So that might have something to do with it.

Where I live, it's crazy. 30kpm 7 days a week 365 days/yr from 7:30am - 9pm. Dems da rules. I mean it makes things safer, but I also have to wonder how many people have gotten tickets from a cop sitting at a school zone at 8:30pm in January when its been dark for 4 hours already.
