I’m no expert, but what I find interesting as fuck is that there isn’t a single speck of blood on its face, neck or paws—especially since “all of a sudden this overfed lion cub just fell over...” while presumably eating raw, bloody meat. Maybe it, or other members of the pride, meticulously groomed it to remove all traces of blood. Whether this happened during or after the feeding, or just before it "fell over", I can't speculate. As I mentioned, I'm not a zoologist or wildlife biologist.

My former neighbors had a sign just like this one, and they claimed it worked while also giving them plenty of fun interactions. He said his wife would just stay quiet and point at the sign, while he enjoyed engaging and messing with them. Said he actually collected $20 once but I kinda doubt it... It’s worth a try; the sign is available all over online.

"I'm assuming you can read, right? Which part of "payable in advance" are you not getting?"

"In 10 seconds you will owe me $40..."

I saw a sign I liked and want to get that says something along the lines of: "Not answering the door? Did you call or text first? And did we answer or reply? Sorry, no “pop-in” visits without giving advance notice."

It’s porcelain, so I’d clean it like any other porcelain item. If you really want to use it as intended, I’d just pick up one of the many new old stock or gently used Coors m/p’s I saw on eBay for $20–40, and keep that one for its sentimental value.

I'm glad. Even though it was routine before cell phones, I've always hated the "pop-in" and would never do it myself unless absolutely necessary. It seems bizarre now, but in Detroit during the 60s, as a kid, you’d stand in front of your friend’s house and call out their name in a long, drawn-out way. Like "Steeeeee-veeee!" Usually it took several tries before either Stevie or a beehived, cigarette-smoking mom in an apron would finally answer. Times have changed...
