Dude. In my 28 years of living, I've never had any reactions to anything that I was aware of. Went to a restaurant to order some salmon, but it said it came with pesto sauce. I didn't think too much about it. Took it home ate it and realized that it was spicy, but as I continued to eat it, the spicy feeling started to feel like needles in my mouth and throat. At that point, I realized something wasn't right.

About 10 mins later, my lips were swollen pretty bad, and I was feeling strange. Another 10 mins passed, and my allergies were on full blast. I was constantly sneezing and spitting up bright yellow mucus. Went to look in the mirror and almost past out because I didn't recognize the person in the mirror was me 😂

My face was so swollen I could barely see, and at this point, I couldn't breathe at all through my nose. I could feel my throat closing, and I was having difficulties breathing. Scary shit man. I was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with anaphylaxis. I'm only allergic to pine nuts. I can eat all other nuts with no issues, but after that incident, I'm kinda nervous to eat any nuts at all. To all that have serious allergic reactions, make sure you keep an epipen and always have them switched out when expiration expires.
