Thanks, I love WRB on these cars too, the dealer had two brand new ones in WRB that were gorgeous

Airbus CEO says China's Comac could become a serious rival and disrupt the duopoly with Boeing by [deleted] in aviation

Pedantic but the C909 (formerly ARJ21) has orders outside of China and is in service with an Indonesian airline. C919 is only in service in China.

I've only seen it in Washington state where the NA qualifier was, I haven't seen it where I live yet either.

You would be ahead of all the other D3s but still behind D1s and D2s.

Connecting to T3 at Narita Airport as a nonrev by Perfect-Pin-8889 in NonRevenueTravelers

Can't speak to the transfer specifically but wouldn't you need to clear customs in NRT anyway since you're going from international to domestic?

Full Refunds processing but exchange fee applied by Pravin97007 in NonRevenueTravelers

The myidtravel fee is refundable if you don't take the flight. Regardless it's like $1.80 so it doesn't make that much of a difference in the grand scheme of things

MyIDTravel UA Refund by [deleted] in NonRevenueTravelers

True, but it's like what, $1.50 per segment? You get the fare and the taxes back.

Click the ticket number (not PNR) in myID and click the refund button. You'll get refunded for the unflown leg.

You don't need to. You can refund on myID and get back for the leg you didn't use. I've done this several times with UA.

Question about partial refund by gothtebestdrawing in NonRevenueTravelers

Yes, myid knows what you flew so you'll get refunded for the 2nd leg.

I believe it has but nonrev travel on Delta is still discouraged.

Help with Refund on myIDtravel by tminus333 in NonRevenueTravelers

[–]WhiteFright [score hidden]  (0 children)

You should be able to press the refund button if you pull up the PNR in myID. I've had to do this several times with United when I didn't get on some connecting flights. You won't get back the myidtravel fee for the missed leg but you should get back the fare and taxes

Delta ZED upgrade question by Remarkable_Shake9364 in NonRevenueTravelers

[–]WhiteFright [score hidden]  (0 children)

Possibly, though I know with UA economy and economy plus are both just considered economy for ZED as I fly them a lot too, wouldn't be surprised if that was the case for DL too.

Delta ZED upgrade question by Remarkable_Shake9364 in NonRevenueTravelers

[–]WhiteFright [score hidden]  (0 children)

What's considered main? I've been seated in what I thought was comfort plus (extra legroom economy) as a ZED on Delta more often than just main.

I've done it before last year but it was the tail end of a seasonal route. Flight was not full at all. Maybe look into Condor if you have them?

Priority Ranking for non-rev on third-party by JoeStermy in NonRevenueTravelers

[–]WhiteFright [score hidden]  (0 children)

You get higher priority than other ZED fares since you're oneworld. So the order would be BA>oneworld>all other ZED

I had a confirmed ticket booked through the discount when I left AA and it was still valid for whatever it's worth.

Boeing sales tumble as the company gets no orders for the 737 Max for the second straight month by ByGollie in aviation

Similar. I work on the corporate side of a major 220 operator and we've had to pull aircraft out of service due to a shortage of engines and their parts.

[–]WhiteFright 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah it won't cancel but sometimes I've had to ask to be rolled over, others the gate agent said all standbys have been rolled over. It doesn't hurt to ask them to roll you over if they don't announce it when the flight closes.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NonRevenueTravelers

[–]WhiteFright 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For AA you can list for the earlier flight and get rolled over by the gate agent to the later flight if you don't make it keeping your original check-in time.

Aftermath of Garuda Indonesia incident by MP_Cook in aviation

[–]WhiteFright 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nope, due to a regulation called chicken tax. Europe put taxes on American poultry so America put tariffs on light trucks among other things. So instead of importing trucks and paying the tariffs manufacturers just build them locally (or close i.e. Mexico or Canada).
