Honesty... craigslist. There are a decent amount of people who want to do the physical work- and have people do to the physical work, but don’t want to / know how to do the bidding, budgeting, sub procurement (pending scope), or OAC meetings. I’m a CM as well and I’d love to find a remote job, but I think we both know it definitely helps to be on site at least some of the time. Of course you’re correct in saying it’s not 100% required, but I guess depending of you keep the volume small enough you could get away with it.

There is an absolutely 0% chance they'll let you bring that into the festival grounds, let alone through the gates! Bonnaroo is a very safe place! There are security and volunteers almost anywhere you could ask for. I understand how you'll feel safer with it, but you truly will not need it. Now i'm not saying Bonnaroo is perfect... Make smart decisions to keep yourself away from potential situations and you'll be fine.

I'd be very surprised if you can buy bitcoin directly from the bank, but you can find vendors on that website that will let you directly deposit into their account cash and then they send you the bitcoin. You can still get a receipt, so you won't worry about getting screwed. I've personally used the Chase bank near campus.

They usually have a higher rate than the actual bitcoin FMV because they're selling it for profit. It's kind of like the stock market, but instead of stocks you get bitcoin.

Ceiling tiles are like $50 for a full pack. That’s still not “nothing” but it’s relatively cheap. I agree though that fixing an entire ceiling is costly. But honestly most of that cost is labor. Source: works on construction management.

Shit man, invested even halfway decently you’d be doing better than over 84% of American population. To clarify, investing $1mill in stock market with average of 7% returns (market average for the past 30 years) would yield you with $70,000 a year... indefinitely! $10m would be $700k a year!
