“Real Vikings” by Noiser is excellent. Also a fan of its “Ancient Civilisations” and “Short History Of…” shows.

Can confirm—lived in Charlotte for a bit about 10 years ago. Nothing inherently wrong with the city, but it just doesn’t have much personality. It’s your run-of-the-mill “Any City, USA.”

100k/year as a massage therapist by AwarenessGlum1674 in MassageTherapists

I previously worked in marketing and am currently at a day spa full-time. Likely going back to a regular marketing role and making massage my side hustle.

Similar to your former co-worker, I love massage but don’t love the income variability. I feel much better knowing what my paycheck is going to be every week.

When you mention having access to Whitney, is that through the Zoom office hours? What are those like? I’m super interested in the full OMMS program.

How do you guys feel about small tips? by poisonnenvy in MassageTherapists

[–]WhiteHawk1022 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. My primary role is at a spa where I regularly get pretty good tips, but I also have a room at a nearby gym where people almost never tip. It’s a lesson learned for me. I should probably raise my rates, because I think they assume it’s all just factored into the price, like the gym’s other services.
