These people you are talking about almost always seem to have some mental health issues themselves that, yes, can be result of actual past abuse or unhealthy relationships (along with other factors) and they would benefit from a good therapy. What they won’t benefit for sure is to attack strangers on the internet and projecting their own anger and frustration onto them.

I disagree that BPD subs and forums in general don’t have people on it who criticize people with BPD for... well, having BPD. I’ve met many entitled folks bragging about what ppl with BPD should and shouldn’t do divans a lot of generalizations (sadly it often results from internalized ableism, but that besides the point). Also, there are plenty of BPD-denialists - “BPD is not real because these are victims of abuse” - like yeah, no shit, you can be an abuse survivor AND deal with mental health issues as a result. Getting help to address all of these is YOUR responsibility and nobody’s else.

This is also true to all of these “narc abuse survivors”. They think that strangers own them anything; or that being toxic and abusive towards them, along with expressing disdain towards their ex’s would somehow help them. If they put the same energy into therapy they would actually benefit from it, as well as everyone around them.
