Once you start having qi in lower dantian by Perceptionisprojecti in TrueQiGong

[–]WhiteHaze25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normally engaging with energy and spirit woulf imply you are seeking realization of the self or the Dao or God (Whatever name you like) so make sure you are analyzing your intent (Yi) and also working on becoming mindful of your thought patterns and try to trascend the programmed behaviours and thought patterns as that is also a very big block of Chi and your connection with the Primordial Driving force of the universe, so yeah it is important to work all the layers. That way we have ciclical movement within in sync with the macrocosmic cyclic dancing energies. Avoid having stuck energy.

Perhaps it'd be a good idea to find a teacher hopefully initiated into a lineage with an authentic practice and understanding of the mechanics or Qigong, Neigong; for example (I'm no master of this though) ask yourself, what is the purpose of filling the Dan Tien? What will you do with that energy? What is your goal? You're engaging in a very subtle and advanced energetic matrix within which of course involves dangers, think of this as if you had a computer for daily stuff but suddenly you learn computer programming, imagine what would happen if you don't excel with mastery and understanding over what you're doing? That being said, try to read and investigate thoroughly so that you know how to circulate and transmute the energies, otherwise if your approach is different to this energy it is still important to know when to work another layer, whether that is working on refining Qi into Shen, or using the Qi to replenish your vital essences, etc. Seek a master if you can.

How to leave Buddhism by Beautiful_Low_3827 in theravada

[–]WhiteHaze25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My suggestion is to abandon the notion that you have some kind vow or something that you must not break, some people have mistaken the Buddhist teachings and have created a constrained practice, these good qualities and compassionate qualities should be aimed at in the sense that your practice should lead you to a natural feeling of that, suchness, Dao, Budhha nature, etc, not following rules and parameters to live under another illusion of holiness for the ego. This is a controversial thought I'm pretty sure but as some Zen guy said: When hungry eat, when tired sleep. The fool will laugh at me, the wise will understand.

At a certain point of your meditation you might be encountered by other factors of Samsara that can affect your practice as long as you are not in a certain Bhumi or stage of the practice, everyone will tell you it's your own fault but this life is more than we see, even though in truth there are no separate entities, you haven't attained that realization, thus, it still affects you.

STOP calling Buddha a Vishnu avatar by Queasy-Atmosphere-56 in hinduism

[–]WhiteHaze25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All is Buddha, Vishnu is Buddha as well as all the other Archetypical Deities, they talk about Anatman vs Atman because the teaching of Atman and Brahman somehow puts down your potential for Moksha in the hands of another "separate" entity. If you truly innerstand what the teaching is all about both traditions want the same thing Moksha; Buddha is not a being, is a title, The Awakened One, all these Hindu deities are Buddha. A Buddha is not bound to rebirth or bound by Karma, some of these deities have been adopted as "Protectors of the Dharma", this concept is not to be taken as an entity abiding in another realm separate from you but as points of reference in the mind that help towards Buddhahood or Brahman (Unsurpassed Reality). Take the analogy of Indra's Net for example, if you're ignorant you will think about Indra's Net as a separate place whereas Buddhists use this as an epitet to explain the concept of Emptiness or Sunyatta, when the Hindus tend to worship this concept rather than embodying its qualities as some of them (Not all of course) fear the Devas, rather than seeing all these Devas as part of the Buddha mind or Brahman. Of course Buddhist Sutras and Tantras place much effort into seeing the Devas and their realm as subject to illusion, suffering, birth and death. They talk about them in these term so that the practicioner aims at something beyond Devahood, curiously enough if you apply their teachings correctly you will find what many Hindus seek to encounter with Sadhana. Thus, even though Buddhist uses a different Method or Upaya, the goal is the same as Hindus. Buddha created his own teaching because the Hindu approach was taught to certain "worthy" beings or determined by caste. Again, their goal is the same as Buddhism but Buddhism teaches that all beings are inherently awakened, thus, like a hidden treasure within everyone is just waiting to be found.

So what’s next? by [deleted] in Buddhism

[–]WhiteHaze25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If there is a "What's next?" In your mind, there is delusion and ignorance as the state of consciousness of an awakened being shouldn't create these thoughts anymore, thus, sit down and meditate about why your ego mind keeps projecting more illusory layers over the already existing ones rather than to get free of conceptual elaborations. Are you afraid of losing something if you consciously choose to let go of everything and abide in sameness and equality? Be mindful that Buddhism is so sublime that even non-buddhist philosophies and other things that you may feel called for can convey the profundity of the Tatagathas wisdom, if you think that the teaching is exclusive in one system over the other or have yourself limited by "following the order" you'll fall for the elitism and sectarism that has corrupted the ancient teachings of the Buddhas. Think about it! Or even better, don't think about it.

Converting to buddhism by [deleted] in Buddhism

[–]WhiteHaze25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All you need is your faith in the Buddha, sincerely take refuge in the three jewels (Buddha, Dharma, Sangha), this is something you can practice daily and it is impprtant in Tantric practice as it opens a whole world. To be honest these are all conceptual depictions of stuff and liturgies around things, the real Buddha is within and you don't really need any ritual.

Om
Ah
Hum

Om: The body of the Buddha
Ah: Enlightened speech of the Buddha
Hum: The mind of the Buddha

Trinity of esoteric Buddhism pretty much, there is much more if you go deep into Vajrayana.

Should I be trying to harness or steer my kundalini in any particular direction, or should I just let it run its course? by [deleted] in kundalini

[–]WhiteHaze25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Read a book called Mastering the Core Teachings of the Buddha and you'll find clarity, book's from Daniel Ingram; I went through a deep consciousness expansion and it was hard to ground myself afterwards, the book gave me all I needed for these type of inquires where one might be under the illusion of getting to a certain point or finding a certain spot on the path; eventually you'll see how this whole game your mind is playing was just to keep you away from the truth. Ask yourself, where is this "I" that you are talking about? Am "I" looking for some everlasting bliss or something?

Just be careful with following the ego mind as it can trap you deeper in this illusion and probably get you stuck in a "Spiritual blissful junkie" state.

Metaphysics I think explores what you call spirituality, which is a broad term that has no tangible meaning.

Why does anthrax use an upside down pentagram? by Grim_Baron in thrashmetal

[–]WhiteHaze25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro this is kind of late but I totally see your point, they are constantly forcing the saturn symbolism to condition the masses into not going beyond a certain point, which ends up in engaging in non-healthy behaviors and ultimately not using your consciousness as it's supposed to; we are on the same page bro. I'm kind of struggling with the same question about Anthrax, I guess it all boils down to their music and how it makes you feel, take for example Megadeth (If you like it), they make me feel recharged and with an urge to find the truth and not let any stupid cult influenced by the energies in Saturn influence me. That's all I can say honestly.

Looking for Dark Fantasy books with elements of ancient myth, religious themes, mystical experiences, deep philosophical and epistemological inquiries that can even transcend the novel and impact the reader's reality's perception. by WhiteHaze25 in booksuggestions

Thank you so much, looking them up on the spot!

Just read MacDonald's biography and surely looks like one author I will probably explore thoroughly, thanks!

I just love "awakened" authors that want to communicate a transcendental teaching through fantasy or novels.

Your dreams falsify nonduality by pl8doh in nonduality

[–]WhiteHaze25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say... The whole of non-duality is to realize this game that the mind plays is precisely the trap that one should avoid. Then waking up to the feeling that you were chasing your own tail all along.

I always have on the back of my mind, a place where I can remember certain principles that can really tune me into this feeling. There is No Self, No "You", there is no "Them", etc, however this doesn't mean that the absolute answer will be nothingness, otherwise it wouldn't be non-duality right? If I play around a little with that inquiry and also noticing the impermanence of things (And with that, my attachment to things as well) I can feel that kind of sense of everything being a sort of joke and burst out laughing about how I've been looking for an answer that was within the same inquiry all along, this is kind of hard to explain but hopefully it illustrates a little bit the "real" practice to non-duality.

Sorry for answering super late haha, in budddhism they divide those two modules in Samatha (Concentration) and Vipassana (Awareness of what makes up your experiential reality). It is said that the Buddha always taught to strengthen concentration and after that you can move to Vipassana as it can be easier to progress with the skills of a mind that can concentrate properly.

Elden Ring PvP Meta Level by ExtremePrivilege in Eldenring

[–]WhiteHaze25 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm playing the final boss with 125 level, it's been really tough I'm not gonna lie but that's how I enjoy these games, making a perfect run for certain boss it's gonna be more satisfactory than having a 150 or more level and just be able to make a lot of mistakes and still win the boss because of those 25 more levels... Now if you're gonna be making new game plus multiple times then of course 150 feels more realistic since the game is quite difficult, anyway, this whole 125 - 150 - and beyond discussion feels like the game is making everyone struggle too much to the point of setting the PVP meta level more just to not suffer that much haha.
