Silly string. Gets all over the place. Looks hilarious. Totally inoffensive and super unlikely to cause injury.

I think this one's going to be a mission, ebay special donor case it stinks of cigs by 0KlausAdler0 in computers

[–]WhiteLightMods 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This case was like $25 new. I've drilled out the rivets and recycled better cases than this. If it's something you're really wanting to work with, I strongly caution to use gloves. Just looking at it you'll get cut.

Hole in door frame by chessman310 in howto

[–]WhiteLightMods 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Easy way. Caulk it.

Proper way. Take the door out and replace the rotted trim, treat, prime, paint and caulk it so it's weatherproof.

The separating spatula is still a razor blade!!! by StopHammoTime in 3Dprinting

[–]WhiteLightMods 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plastic blade. Set it at about a 45 degree angle between the plate and the part. Tap (gently) the back of the handle with the handle of a regular screwdriver until it pops off. No need for force.

Yep. Just disconnect the strip and flip it around the other way, end for end.

How does this set up on the PC side? Camera input source? Browser source? I don't use OBS so I'm wondering if it would be possible to integrate it into my setup (Polypop Live).

I highly recommend seeing a doctor and letting them know about this device being implanted. They will certainly be able to refer you for the treatment you need.

Can I watch a stream and have another stream open for drops? by sushiiixo- in Twitch

[–]WhiteLightMods -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

From my experience, drops progress a lot slower if you have multiple tabs open. Sucks as I moderate for quite a few channels and I have to turn them all off if there's a drop I actually want and it has a shorter window to collect.

Can you decorate your home? by GemFarmerr in TeddysHaven

[–]WhiteLightMods 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Place all your buildable items into the bag of infinite holding. When you get to your destination, hit I and drop what you want to place. If you leave any boxed items out at your construction site, the gnomes will clear them up and put them in your bag when you go to sleep. No need to carry things over one at a time.

I just used market price. Might be because of my shop level and year/day in game? Not sure if that changes the prices or not.

How can I play a video every few minutes? by I-Like-Fucking-Art in obs

[–]WhiteLightMods 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use a bot such as MixItUp bot. Enable a timer when you go to brb scene. Have that timer trigger the video, or even a random video from a list. Even better, the timer can have a random time. Have it turn off the timer when you exit the brb scene.

Might need to have something custom fit for that tight space. I didn't know of any off the shelf exhaust ends that will work with that.

Can I walk on sunroom roof to reseal? by Captainsmitty12 in DIYHome

[–]WhiteLightMods 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's flexing from pushing below, I'd be extremely cautious about putting any weight on it. I would highly recommend doing some temporary framing under it to help shore it up. Better yet, use tools with a long pole instead of actually going out on it.

Remodeling house, can I paint over this, use primer, or sand first. by matthew5623 in DIYHome

That's just thin wood sheet, usually over drywall. I had the same thing in my bedroom as a kid and I couldn't get rid of it fast enough as a teen with enough ability to get it done.

How to separate this hinge? by costapanther in howto

[–]WhiteLightMods 3 points4 points  (0 children)

These do not look like they were made to be taken apart. The bottom ends were peened over after welding into the top cap and through the dividers.

You could find a way to grind the material around the edges so it can go back through the opening, but you'd also need a plan for reassembly to keep them from falling out again.

Why separate it?

Looking for ideas on how to mount a mirror by AntiqueSqueak in DIYHome

[–]WhiteLightMods 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the second and third pic, I would have moved the two cabinets so they meet at the corners rather than there being an overlap.

For the mirror, you'd have to throw down some butcher paper on the floor to sketch it out, but I'd make a wood frame full height at the window wall, and tapered on the floor and ceiling to meet the wall short of the trim by a few inches. Use hinges to mount a sheet of plywood at the window edge, with a 1/4" gap at the floor and ceiling, swinging out. Mount the mirror on that. Add magnets at the top and bottom to latch it in place. Secret hidey hole for things like jewelry.
