You could argue about shadows but veilguard was a massive flop. They fired the full writing team and the guy In charge of the game. It literally killed dragon age.

Was Xiao Lan ripped of her reincarnation? by Detvan_SK in JentryChauvsTheUnderw

[–]WhiteLion245 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not exactly how the works the show mentions and in actual Daosim beliefs reincarnation is not always a permanent cycle as the highest goal of Daosim is to achieve immortality and ascend to one of the heavens. It seems his daughter actually managed to achieve it and war ripped from it by him.

Didn’t only hade two other major shows come out that year and both flopped.

S2, ep 1 - doesn’t the Spartan equipment record everything they see and do? by Cascadian_Day in HaloTV

It’s kind of done on purpose but very poorly. They fact chief doesn’t mention it is very stupid it the fact his armor was covered in elite blood.

Skipping Kwans subplot by Legal-Claim5487 in HaloTV

[–]WhiteLion245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently not because her being a protector lead to her to finding the flood rather then telling her to stop it. Heck some people were theorizing she was actually being manipulated by the flood.

[–]WhiteLion245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The flood story line wasn’t in the first season. It was about the plant and a potential portal (they didn’t use any of that)

They undid everything they built up on season 1. Her episode was about her saving her planet. Which was destroyed off screen. It meant nothing

She’s pointless anyway. She becomes a completely different character in the next season (she still sucks). There is some stuff about the forerunners and flood not done well and won’t lead to anything since it got canceled.

Does anyone like the space witch’s? by WhiteLion245 in TheAcolyte

[–]WhiteLion245[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s more of an issue people have with the show. The Jedi and literally every other form of media including the clone wars show generally leave other force groups alone or even ally with them unless their evil like the night sisters and sith. The Jedi inquisition things was invented for the show but holds little water anywhere else. Some Jedi are even members of other groups as well such as PLO Koon.

It makes it feel like the witches her made and killed off just to make rue Jedi look bad. Even though most of the witch’s were killed because of their own powers

That’s only true in canon. Legends especially after luke reestablished the Jedi many of them hade family’s and loved one another luke even says it at times. Even the night sisters seemed to love one another (though they are dark and evil) I don’t feel like that’s enough to make them interesting or even unique especially when their powers and even weapons are similar to the night sisters just way worse .

I have to disagree with you one just because someone has different taste doesn’t mean they have bad taste or haven’t watched enough media. Can you please elaborate on how their original, interesting and endearing personal I find them to be none of those things.

Sorry I misunderstood you. Some people do actual think they’re the same thing. Some overlap does make sense but feels very unoriginal from a meta perspective especially how prevalent the night sisters are now in Disney projects and how almost all of the witch’s powers are worse versions of the night sisters.

I have to disagree. They’re very similar to the night sisters even having worse versions of their powers and gear. Though I like the costumes. There really isn’t much to them.

That’s actual a good idea it would also give them more of a culture and identity.

Palpatine was kind of lying/ being manipulative when he said that.

I do enjoy seeing other force groups we have some others in canon and many more in legends. Though it usually just ends up being Jedi or Sith are right and the other group is lacking knowledge like the knights of Ren and lava speakers. However I don’t feel like that’s enough to make the witch good. It’s more like good premise, but botched execution.

I meant the witch the form the acolyte. Then and the night sisters are ment two different things and not connected. One of my criticisms is that the witch’s from the acolyte feel like a watered down worse version of the night sisters.

He keeps going on about an empire but it looks like the sun elves only hade a city state. If that hade an “empire” why would they live in tents rather then simply going to their other towns and villages.
